quicksave while crashed

i accidentally quicksaved my game (FF4) ( I didn't know i can use mem cards

) while it is crashed (no signs of ot...)
now i cannot enter anything, open menu, or go into a battle because it will just freeze :cuss2: . And i do not know how to use the debugging thingees(i can open the first one but the other three will cause psx to crash...the program report thing will come up and shut psx)
does this mean i have to start all over again?

you're screwed. maybe this will be a lesson to keep more than one save state, and to always save to memory card
