something strange with FF9

well, playing FF9(i was wanting to try it, becouse everytime i tryed with my PSX it just stopped working at the start/end(i don't remember) of the 3 CD), so, i was trying it, and when i got to the FMV when dagger remembers the city of summoners being destroyed, it hangs at the middle, and i cant get it to work...
i'm sure that's not the part where it got hanged the last time, so, what could it be?

thanks
EDIT: hehe, just saw it, in the command line there seems to be an error that repeats: "rldata buffer empty"(without the thingies)(don't remember the name, i talk in spanish originally =P)

I remember in some of the FMV when I was playing FF9 it got really weird. And it hangs at times. I tried many...but ePSXe v1.52 was the one able to keep going although the FMV might be screwed up a little at times it was able to get past that part for me.

Are you talking about the part where Dagger goes up the ladder to the blimip and the main character pinches her butt. It changes to the FMV then it hangs there right? Or is it another part? Because I switched back and forth b/w many emulators while playing FF9. But I used ePSXe v1.52 and V1.6 the most.

See if it works!

Another suggestion is try to get another copy of the disc 2 from your friends or something...it could be possible that it's scratched and that is causing the error....another way would be getting someone making a bin/cue file for you and let you try through the 2nd disc...

Have you tried to playing around with some of the options for video? About using ePSXe v1.52...there might be ways were you can transfer your saved files over to it...I was able to transfer my save points from different emulators before I forgot what I used but I transferred some my save file from another emulator to ePSXe v1.52/v1.6 from something else...I just can't remember what I used and what was the emulator i used prior to ePSXe...

I love this new emulator though...a lot easier to setup (more like none).
