tales of destiny and parasite eve

i can't get tales of destiny and parasite eve to run. can someone help? after the opening movie of tales of destiny the start button or any button does not seem to work. and on parasite eve after the opening movie the the same. the controller does not seem to work. the cursor is stuck on continue and i can't move it up or down. thanks.

Have you tried it with the keyboard instead? It is known that pSX has some issues regarding the use of controllers.

I have the same problem with the difference that pe2 stuck up when the cd is runned and after reading thousands of pe2 posts i still didn't find a solution
