Here's some playing Final Fantasy Origins(FF1). Works great, opening fmv little slow, but works perfect!
Sorry for the big white space in the screenshots, pasted the screenshots to ms paint and tried to stretch the image through paintshop pro afterwards, but didn't work right.

#1 - The crystal shown in the opening FMV

#2 - New game!

#3 - Out on the overworld map

#4 - In battle

Some Castlevania: SOTN screens! This emu is alread great!!

I got full speed on this game, and the graphics are not bad!! Also, it supports that screen flipping thingy when you kill Dracula on the prologue! Not even on EPSXE I was able to see this effect!!

I had the same problem in SOTN with the snapshot effect...until I switched to the Peops Soft GPU.

Man, I'm really impressed with this emulator! The first version already plays sooo many games just like the original PSX!! Even Chrono Cross works great, at full speed! Even the MDECs are full speed and with a great quality!

Oh, and unlike VGS, the item menu works!!!!!

Some screenies of Chrono Cross and Darkstalkers! I've seen a VERY minor bug on Darkstalkers, at the select character screen, but it doesn't bothered me!

Its no suprise that Chrono Cross runs well... its one of my favourite games ever ever!

Oh Kid... how I love you... even though I know that movie of you at the end of the game is probably an ugly chick in a wig (maybe even a man)....

Some more tested games:

Final Fantasy 7: Well, I tested it before, but forgot to add some screenshots! Other than the sounds, the game seems perfect! Also, the 2d backgrounds are REALLY great looking, but without any kind of glitches! BTW, its workinf at full speed!

Rival Schools: Seems perfect! Full speed and the graphics are the same as the real PSX (I HAVE a real PSX!). The 2d artworks are looking great!

Valkyrie no-no

Something that made me a bit sad...

I tested my favorite game of all times, "Valkyrie Profile". At first, I was impressed! This emu can show great graphics in 2d images! Look at the first image! Impressive! It looks better than EPSXE with the PEoPS plugin! Then, I heard the voices. They are noisy, making them anoying to hear! But thats not a HUGE problem!

But after a while... The game froze... On the same place it used to freeze on VGS... Its after the last pic, it supposed to show the 3d map, but the screen just go blank! I can hear the ambient sounds, but I can see nothing...

-Revelations: Persona and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment = Both are working great, I haven't seen any kind of problems! The sound is also perfect for both games, even the voices!

-Parasite Eve = Perfect too! And the MDECs really look great here!

Now??? NO!! Maybe in the future...

Epsxe is being made for many years now, and is always getting better! Also, since it uses plugins, you can get enhancements on the graphics and sounds (there's a sound plugin that make the games sounds better than the real PSX, for example).

PSXeven is also good, but it still has many bugs, and MANY timing problems!

Make sure you keep an eye on pSX though!! This one runs most games just like the real PSX, its easy to use and has a better timing than EPSXE in most games!! If you are like me who don't care for enhanced graphics, I'm sure you'll love pSX!!

To change the subject, I tried Final Fantasy 9 today, but it crashes on the oppening (right before it shows Zidane inside that ship!). I don't know if its my iso, and my CD is in my causin's house, so I can't test it now. Can someone test it?

Anyway, I tried Grandia and it works perfect! Haven't seen any kind of problems, the sound is perfect (including the voices) and the game is fast! I haven't seen slowdowns when using magic like EPSXE and VGS!

Now that the new version is out, and can read some games from the CD, I tested Megaman X4 (wich I can't make a iso 'cause my HD is full), and it was almost perfect! Both the graphics and sounds are perfect, IMHO, the graphs are better than the real PSX (less blurry). The only problem I've encountered was a 20-30 seconds pause when the level ends, but I have a feeling that it was just 'cause I was playing from the CD instead of an iso!

Well, I tried using PSX emulator v1.2 so far into period 6 of Valkyrie Profile it's fine...except it sometimes has these mini pauses nothing big though. Here's a few screenshots.

Doesn't work here either (NTSC/US version).

playing through Final Fantasy 9 for the first time and it's working great (US version). I ripped the disc images with CloneCD, mounted with Daemon Tools, and just used the virtual drive to play.

Here's a few shots from the first few hours of play:
