how do you save to a memcard?

when i first downloaded epsxe i was able to save at a moogle in ff9 and open the saved game later, but then after a week or so i wasn't able to save at moogles and had to use temporary save states all the time. is there a specific thing i should do to save my game into a memcard?

Wrong area of the forums. This is for pSX, not ePSXe.

But what do you mean exactly when you say you couldn't save? Was it giving error messages, or saying you had no memory card inserted, or something else? As long as you have a memory card properly designated (and loaded), there shouldn't be anything specific you need to do to save, especially after already saving. Only thing you *might* have to do is make sure the memory card is "formatted".
