l of dragoon not recognizing analog

I am trying to play legend of dragoon on psx, which seems to work fine. But it does not seem to register the analog controls, even though they are set in the configuration. I am using a logitech dual action game pad. The gamepad works fine with epsxe, but the analog sticks don't work with psx. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

Probably one of the only cases I've seen of somebody saying this where the game actually *does* support analog controls... lol.

Have you set the controller mode to "SCPH-1200: Dualshock"?

hadn't tried that, thought it wouldn't work. Did it and it works. Thanks.

I have kind of the same problem, except that the game does recognize the analog controls, but I can't run around, only walk.

I'm sure it won't really change anything game wise, but it's sure slowing things down -_-

try mapping whatever button you need to press in order to run onto a different input device (like your keyboard) and see if it is responsive.

Thats just it, far as I know, the only way to run is to press the analog all the way in the direction you want to move, no button. I've tried with the D-pad and could still only walk

Half fixed it, I can run up and down, but not left or right
