pSX on ubuntu wine

Sorry for posting 2 threads at the same time though their on different topics.

When i try to run pSX through wine it hangs there and says "unhandled exception" then asks for a dump, but no matter what i click on it just keeps auto-clicking 'yes', freezes everything and it wont stop opening screens until i turn off my computer... and then it doesn't even give me the dump file. I don't know what it would be.. i have the bios and etc i mean sense it's pSX there isn't like any config i have to go through..

thanks for your help

Why don't you just use a Linux build of pSX?

yeah i guess i forgot to explain that part xD haha

i HAVE been using the linux pSX build but i've long sense beaten all the playstation games i like so now i'm trying to use CEP and have a bit more fun, but there isn't any linux build of CEP.. unless i'm retarded and just can't find it : / lol

so if i can get pSX running in wine then i can use CEP

I've tried manually editing the hex but i can only get very small changes to actually STAY changed. like if i'm playing final fantasy tactics, i can change their bravery and faith easily, but anything else i try to change (health, speed, power etc etc) just changes right back to where it was as soon as i enter a battle or something of the sort.

even if i COULD figure it out.. changing values like that are just the beginning of emulator hacking.. which isn't readily available for linux :/

woahh i typed a lot

sorry >.<
