pSX problem - cuebin: read sector...

So.. I play all my other games on here with pretty much no problem, but when I put in Ehrgeiz and go to quest mode the game messes up. To be clear, I can play it for a while and occasionally when I try to move into the next level/screen anything the screen turns black and nothing will come out of it. I revert back to saves, but it's still unavoidable because it happens randomly again.

I'm running v1.13 and on the DOS screen, it reads:
cuebin: read sector out of range <298224, max=296584>

and it continues to scroll that across the screen with different numbers.. Any reason for this? It's really frustrating when I get far and it messes up.

I had that problem with a few of my games. I found that using a combination of 1.7 and 1.13, most games work, so try 1.7. The newer versions apparentlly stop on a wider variety of errors.

No idea why.
You could start by mentioing wich versions you have, which game does that, and which are your hardware specs.
And update your directx, and verify that the graphic drivers are properly installed?

Alternatively, a separate thread could have been created as well (in the correct section, more specifically).

post your system specs, but if you want help with epsxe specifically then head over to the epsxe section.
