PSX Help Needed!

Hi everyone.

Just tried putting this on my Partners PC and I'm getting a problem.
Works perfectly on mine but when I put it on my partners and try and lauch it, It says dxdx9_26.dll is missing and to reinstall the software and it might work, I have tried 3 times and all I get is that message.

Just go to the microsoft site and download the latest version of directX on your partner's PC. You can also download the missing dll simply here.

Download video card drivers from here. If you still can't run pSX
try ePSXe with P.E.Op.S soft plugin.

If nothing else, try changing the desktop between 16 bit and 32 bit colour (or 24 bit if nothing else). There are still odd occasions where that has an effect.

I think the best video plugIn for low CPU will be the "Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.77" this video plugIn is highly recomended for low specs CPU. It works about 90% old CPU. You can try this. I think that will work. Good luck.

The CPU is fine for PSX emulation, I used to play no problems on my PIII 1Ghz. Seems like its the onboard video that's being a pain. As they said try updating the drivers for that SiS chip and if that doesn't work use ePSXe in software rendering mode.

the software plugin would be more ideal for systems that have below average video cards and/or cpus's, i dont recommend using hardware acclerated plugins with systems in the lower-end range or ones that have onboard video.
