Xenogears Problem

Each time i try to memory card save it keeps telling me that Save fail, now this wouldn't be much of a problem since i am using save states except that i worried that i won't be able to play the 2nd disc because of of the lack of save, Any of you guys have any suggestions?

i think some games will do it on their own when you attempt to save to an unformatted card, but if not you just need to start the emulator with the unformatted memory card loaded but without a game loaded and it will let you do it manually. if for some reason that doesnt fix the problem, check your directory paths.

it creates them but i dont think it formats them right away. the game will usually trigger a format it if it detects it as unformatted, but there are some games that dont do this, and for those cases you have to manually format it by starting the emulator with a memory card loaded but no game.
