im also new to pcsx2 and is using gsdx as my graphic plugin..zeroGS makes my pcsx2t crash..i already downloaded d3dx9 v36 and d3dx10 v36 and put them in both pcsx2 and plugins directory..

1st: where can i download d3dcompiler_36.dll? or do i really need it?

2nd: my first game to test pcsx2 is FFX, but it runs at low fps, depending
on what part of the game(battle:10-25fps,story:4-50fps) my specs are:
  • Intel?Core?2 Duo T7100 (1.66 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)
  • Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset
  • Genuine Windows Vista?Home Premium
  • Intel?Graphics Media Accelerator 950
  • 14.1-inch WXGA High-Definition** BrightView Widescreen Display
  • 1GB
  • 160GB
--i just copied this from my laptop reviews

You're trying to play with integrated graphics, which suck to begin with. Keep that in mind.

That's also the reason you can't use directX 10, I don't think any integrated graphics adapter supports dx10.
