Black background in Disgaea with GSdx9

Hello everyone

.

I have always been using Zero gs KOSMOS but since I find it too be a tad slow sometimes, I decided to try GSdx. And, while it is at a high FPS, only the character models are displayed, the background being black. Why is this? Is my computer too old or can a setting fix it?
