And now explain me, why it crashes while loading?

No I'm serious-> the time for loading ingame with a non emulated dvd-drive takes far too much time, pcsx2 crashes randomly. Even with 4x Speed; i can't understand that... Is there no solution? (I understood what you say, GiGaHeRz)

Okay, if this is a hardware-problem, how can you play it on a dvd-drive without crashes? Of course i can limit the speed to 2x and lower... but its not a solution, it makes things a lot slower AND instable.

What do you think?

EDIT: With the newest version (v0.6) i can get even ingame

Well I never got crashes because of cdvd speeds! So I can't really say on that, just, are you sure it's because of the cdvd plugin? If so, then maybe there's something incompatible with your drive making the plugin crash...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure; cause there was an old plugin of pcsx2 0.9.3 called something with linux, sry forgot the name--> it worked perfectly, there were no options, you just had to put the drive-letter in there... after the version 0.9.4 the plugin was incompatible and i had to use peop's plugin wich was pretty buggy (my old pc just got stuck with using this)

finally i can use a new plugin^^ and its yours, maybe there will be no crashes anymore! i just have to test it...But first i need to compile the newest svn (rev. 301) because you can't download the newest one.

I've test with gradius 5 NTSC, and works, now the game is bootable with your plug-in.

I Have use Daemon Tools, because the reading in game in dvd, the velocity of game drops...

Its me again, I finally compiled the source of the svn rev301 and gsdx1.8 rev. 745
It works more or less... some new bugs appeared, but its ok...

Your version of the Dvd-Plugin (v0.6) is stable for me^^
Now I can play games through my dvd-drive
Just: Its far too slow, it lags all the time, is this something you can fix?

It is a little slow in detecting the 1st cd, but I don't mind. The cd switching for hot wheels velocity x and dynasty warriors 4 works perfectly and very quick as well. Not sure yet about ingame reading speeds.

The dvd plugin as of now, correct me if I am wrong, is meant for game cd swapping. The game loading speeds are slow as of now but will increase later. You would know this if you read the posts above you.

The CDVD plugins are pretty much high level, that means as long as the plugin reads the correct data, it will NOT change the compatibility in any way.

The only way it can "improve" something is for games that won't work without disc swapping.

ok thanks gigahertz you are great..well i wish to konw someday why in somes lines of somes games(code route) the emulator be crashed..well only in the specific code line the emulator crashed in games like need for speed carbon(i think that is a problem c++ with some libraries of other video out put),this so strange because in others games are stable ,,well thanks friend for the answers,,

It's meant for dvds, not for isos...

O by the way Gigaherz, your plugin for some reason, is the only cd/dvd that can play killzone. Don't know why but hey, thanks.
