Tekken 4 help please?

Hello everyone, i just joined this night, and this emulator seems very cool..

I recently purchased Tekken 4, as a trial to see if i could play this game.

Well, i can, but i cannot at the same time. Meaning that with sound off, and some options enabled, i get ingame speeds that cannot surpass 10FPS, yet others who have worse specs then i seem to run this game with perfect ease. I am using the Non-VM version of the 0.9.4 emulator..

My specs are:
Pentium R (D) Processor
2.80GHZ
1 Gig of RAM (yes, i know.. Time to upgrade!!)
Geforce 7300LE (And again! Time to upgrade!)

But it seems that i do not understand how this emulation process works, as the readme posted on this website seems to be incompatible with my current version of this emulator.

I also bought FFX as well as FFXII, so i would love to get these games working somehow.

To summarize my request:

Would someone please

1. Point me in the direction of a recent readme?
2. Give me ideas of what the problem could be?
3. Give me ideas on what to check/configure?

This, or even some of this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all who choose to reply, and to those who read this.

Riven

the pcsx2 section is here.

Pentium D's are very slowly compared to AMD X2 or core2duo,
you can try to enable MTGS&DC in the config/CPU menu if you didn't that already.
and you can try an other GFX plugin like ZeroGS 0.97.1 or GSdx 0.1.7

your GFX card is very slow too, the only thing you can do is to upgrade your complete system to run the emulator faster

Get the latest GSdx here and ZeroGS here
If you search for pcsx2 betas, look here (but no support in the forums for it!)

Apologies, but thank you for pointing me to the right direction.

About the CPU -- The latter was checked, Dual Core, not both.

And about the ZeroGS 0.97.1, unfortunately i can only find 4, and only ZeroGS KOSMOS 0.97.0 (three different types, none are 0.97.1) and GSdx v. 10.0 are showing up

Thanks much for the attempt, however!
