Get rid off the Command
The main thing the pcsx2 is taking lots of cpu and memory is cuz of its command. Cant you guys get rid of it cuz i dont see the use of it( looking in a perspective of a normal player no knowledge of any programming).

pcsx2 needs a lot of CPU because its hard to emulate all components of the PS2 syncron in realtime.
dunno about the memory, but the VM version reserves a fixed section in the memory as far i know.

yea they're still working on 0.9.5
you can download the beta version of it on the official site.

it helps a lot specially people that need to know crc of game and to report where did the emu stop to see if it's fixable besides u can just unckeck "enable console" on pcsx2 :P

I think it should default to off/unchecked, or maybe have a low details (maybe just some details and errors) default mode.
Besides that, I would think that the command window does NOT take much memory. I mean, have you ever opened a text document that is hundreds of pages long? They are less then 2 megs! I guess 'lots of memory' is subjective though.

Afaik it's off by default, and it's meant to display details anyway.. What's up really?
