PCSX2 with ATI Radeon cards
I have a Radeon 2900XT and it emulates pretty well, but there are still times where the game starts going slow because the card isn't at it's full clock speed. It stays at it's default desktop speed of 507/514 MHz instead of increasing to it's D3D speed of 835/870 MHz. Any other ATI card users that were able to fix this problem? I tried full screen mode, but that causes my computer to crash. I'm using the latest version of GSdx.

I've heard ATItools is a good overclocking utility for nvidia but particularly ATI cards. It will allow you to overclock, monitor temps and adjust your fan speed then test your card to ensure its stable.
You can use it to force your card to particular clock speeds and prevent it from underclocking when its in pcsx2. Its alot more userfriendly than Rivatuner and doens't require as muchreading to understand.
