Now I know you are all wondering why I was using dx9 instead of dx10 renderer.
Well that is because I can get a full screen at 1024x768 85 hertz with dx9
But with dx10 which I am using again. I can't get a full screen with 1024x768 85 hertz. Any thoughts? It always plays at 640x448...

PS: I know I can maximise the screen but then I still see that ugly gray bar which tells me how much fps I have. Not really a full screen

make your gsdx settings look like the attached pic, then use alt+enter to go into/out of full screen.

As for the feedback in Ring of Red the text has to be displayed as white text, which your plugin does mostly.
But sometimes the text is grayed out. And when performing special moves you can't see the text at all. If only you could find a permanent solution in your next version I would be thrilled.
Ok with dx10 and sw mode, it must be a z buffer precision problem I'm afraid.

Thoughts gabest?
I assume you have the june 2008 directX SDK?
When you added the include dir into the project properties, did you add the x86 or x64 dir?
You might need to delete the entire dir and check out 799 again...

Front Mission 5 (JAP) crashes with dx10 but plays with dx9.
This a shame because the sound is really good with dx10.

Disgaea 2 has a slightly shaking screen that is painfull for the eyes :P

Disgaea 2 is an interlace game. You need to pick an interlace option that's pleasing to your eyes (press F5 repeatedly).
The FIRST Disgaea game is progressive, which is why you don't get the "screen shaking".

Nevermind! I got it working. Wasn't anything I had wrong, but for whatever reason the linker wasn't overwriting the old broken .dll

@gabest
Ar Tonelico 2's texts got screwed over. Some are partially displayed, some won't display at all, and few are spit out garbage.

Games that use the same type of text rendering are screwed over too. Tried with Majokko A La Mode 2, same problem. It was working prior to SVN 792 but then the problem keeps worsening after SVN 792 and finally dies on the latest SVNs (800+).

Would appreciate it if you could look it over

Sample A --> Ar Tonelico 2
To the left of the numbers, there should be item names, and on the right box should be text describing the items.

Sample B --> Majokko A La Mode 2
Partially rendered text. The blank spots should have texts

Sample C --> Ar Tonelico 2
The empty boxes should be menus with texts in them.

psi-ops could be playable too

hi gabest again, this a good news, the game ps1-ops i can play this in pcsx2.0.9.4 with gsdx 1.8-1.9 but only in software mode, in hardware mode the panel and emulator closes automatly..is stranger because if i push r2 bottom the emulator closes too..but if i donīt push this bottom i can play something..there are glitches in the graphcis character, and some bugs..but at least is something

Spikey polygons is a pcsx2 problem, not GSdx.

Disgaea 2

I don't know if this is a known bug. But the spoken text (dialogue) is not rendered.
I've tried with dx10 and dx9.
See my attachments.
