Followup
Since someone suggested it, tried with with the svn versions of pcsx2 (377) and gsdx (772).
Same glitch, even with the new software mode. (I'm assuming dx9 software is that, correct?) Edit: Didn't notice this was supposed to be included too: CRC is F438CDBB Last edited by FFFan80; June 4th, 2008 at 15:41. |

did you put the additional dll's to the pcsx2 main directory?
and you should update your directX.

but i don't think he implemented it fully, as only his own shaders work with it. And all shaders i've tried from various websites don't work (including ones from official nVidia sites) i wish i could find his code to see how he implemented it, but i can't seem to locate the sourcecode for his hack

you're posting some confusing stuff. how would you have Direct3d10 in XP? ![]() and if you really did put the DLL's in the correct directory, then try reinstalling your graphics card drivers. don't let vista install them for you, download them yourself from the nVidia website.

Gran Turismo 4
I have been trying to run GT4 on PCSX2 for long time.
Now with the new versions of SVNs and GSDX it is almost playable. there still exists one problem. it crashes every time when in the scene appears sun, it can't render sun. please try to solve this problem. this will make the game fully playable. FPS is way more than enough. i get constan 50FPS on 3.2GHz Core 2 Duo (E4600), in DX10 mode. every track is 100% playable, only some tracks where is the sun, it crashes when you look in the direction of it. is it possible to fix this problem with the new version of GSDX? gabest, please answer |

Hey guys, first post here! I did my best to search for a fix for this before wasting your time...
I've been running FFX with gdsx 1.7 and can maintain 40-50fps for much of the game EXCEPT during battles where it then drops to 15-20fps (almost unplayable since the sound doesnt match the actions at that point). The game still looks fantastic with 1.7 and my CPU LOAD IS ONLY AT AROUND 55% at any given time while playing FFX (even during battles and FMV). I feel like i'm missing some kind of easy fix (hopefully?). intel core2 3.2ghz 2g RAM Geforce7600gt 256 Any suggestions? |

Did you enable Dual Core mode? Do soby following the guide in my signature, it seems like what is what you are missing.

1. Wrong section
2. Go to Config->CPU-> Make sure that all options are enabled and frame limiting should be set to "Limit" EDIT: Man, you're too fast-.-

Cpu load shown by gsdx or by windows task manager?
If it's the latter one, then it's most likely your video card which is too slow or you're missing some options in the cpu configuration. Try to use native res. I have an intel core2 duo @ 2.5ghz and I can achieve fullspeed nearly everywhere.

No, its definitive his settings, cause I have a 7300GT and I do have fullspeed in FFX and my CPU-usage is around 90%! (or he underclocked his card extremly)

Yeah, I was thinking about that but maybe he's using some high resolution with gsdx which causes these slowdowns. Well, I guess it's a missing checked box in the cpu settings.

Man, difference between 772 and 774? Don't expect huge changes like 200% Speed@1.1Ghz
Only Gabest knows what's new and he doesn't make a changelog
