This thread is NOT for posting stuff about SVN,which is NOT supported in this forum. You should realize gabest updates his SVN whenever he codes something new,not whenever he's completed a stable build,so it is extremely possible this is just a commit which isn't supposed to work.

Hey, small question. In the guide on the pcsx2 website it says you can use GSdx9 to record video of your game by "pressing the Insert key of the Numpad while running PCSX2 with GSdx9" and a message box is supposed to appear.
The only Insert key I know of is left of Home and above Delete and when I press it nothing happens. Any ideas? |

i still prefer the hardware ,with hardware i had to restrain my FFXII not to go over 60 fps but with software graphic emulation i'll achieve a whooping 9-11 FPS

OK, so, you'll prefer playing GoW2 in software mode or in hardware while you can see only the charectar and green garbage aroung him?

gabest look that in your gsdx last version software mode, god of war is very stables when there not enemys, with wide screen on looks better, otherwise i try with resolution 640x... and 256 colours trick and is more faster and doesn´t crashes the gsdx9, when kratos is near of the top of ship in any side the images crashes eventually, with hardware mode is really good the speed but doesn´t looks nothing good ,,

hey dantes, based on your screenshot, it seems like the SPS in this game does not exist. which pcsx2 svn and gsdx svn are you using? whats your configuration? because last time i checked with pcsx2 svn 377 and gsdx svn 765, the SPS is still there

I've got something odd. Whenever I try to Play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 in Hardware or software mode, SPS is shown in the main menu screen. But If I turn on the speed hacks (ABS Disabled=True, EE/IOP sync hack=True) the SPS is gone.
1st image= Hardware with speed Hacks on 2nd image= Software with speed Hacks on 3rd image= Software with speed Hacks off

most-likely its the "forced ABS disabled" speed hack thats making the game work.
an it also looks like GSdx is having problems, since it works in software mode, and it messes up in hardware mode.

Uhm..I think it's offenseive to tell an Author what to do...
It's his plugin and she should do it the way he wants, or their's no point.

Depends,if it's "advice" like that you just gave without having any idea how useful it is to have a bug free software renderer or how much it helps in coding the hardware one, then yes it's offensive. He knows better and suggesting stuff without having any knowledge on the matter only makes you look clueless I'm afraid.
