The main changes in gsdx svn750 as I see is get rid of black screen in VU skip mode,even with old pcsx2 version,you`ll never see the flashing black screen,and the game speed is much faster.
Great work!gabest.

Strange, I still get flashes with it when it tries to skip, except for FFX2 FMVs, but even with older versions they worked fine with VUskip. Ingame, the problem remained (at least for me)

@guru, Killjoy:

Did you compile the SVN version or did you use the dlls posted by TXFoda?
(Just asking because I got a compiler error with version 750 that drove me nuts yesterday... Gabest's programming skills are just too advanced for me to understand what went wrong... )

(No, I wont start discussing the compilation process or problems about it here... though i wonder why it's forbidden. )

I googled it, found a build 750, and DLed it. For now I saw no noticeable difference with 1.7, but I only tried with FFX2...

your going to have to get the new dx10_37 dlls. I haven't been able to find them in gabests sourceforge repository. But its equalily likely that I just don't know where or how to look for them.

It's probably in a 2008 redist of DX, gonna check

Update: Found March2008 as most recent version
If you extract the redist in a folder with Winrar (or anything else), you can get the file alone by opening Mar2008_d3dx10_37_x**.cab

Tried again on FFX2, there's a place where fps usually drop a bit below 60. I still get flashes when VUskip does its job

exactly new directx dll are found in new update of Dirext Redist.

For the compiler error i have found that it asks for a lib that you can find in pcsx2 SVN directory under plugin/gs/gsdx.

Other libs and includes are from directx SDK.
I builded it succesfully but was to tired to try it.

@Gabest:

Thx for writing the svn's again (after 4 month of break)

I got almost 10% more speed in Tales of Symphonia (Menu from 60%FPS to ~72%FPS and ingame from 10.5FPS to 12.5FPS)
Im talking about SSE2 instructions

EDIT: In the SSE4-Version, there some syntaxerror with ";" and ")" in GSvector.h in raw 53 and 54

That's the thing I mentioned above... didn't get either what's wrong there.
Yet, you can make it compile by doing:

Code:
//GSVector4 floor() const {return GSVector4(_mm_floor_ps(m));}
//GSVector4 ceil() const {return GSVector4(_mm_ceil_ps(m));}
GSVector4 floor() const {return GSVector4(_mm_round_ps((m), _MM_FROUND_FLOOR));}
GSVector4 ceil() const {return GSVector4(_mm_round_ps((m), _MM_FROUND_CEIL));}

@samhayne:

Yeah, it seems to work now^^

Too bad, I got only a SSE3 CPU-.- (AMD)

It would be cool, if there would be a SSE3 version and not only versions for intel cpus... (Donno if AMDs Quad can handle SSE4)
But I don't think gabest will learn an another Instruction...

You do realize that most games compatibility issues are emulator related, right?

Nonetheless, the religious chatter is getting rather irritating.

For your own safety, and the safety of others, refrain from causing agitation due to the risk of annoyance and flaming.

Killzone works!
It's super slow but you can actually see things. Thanks Gabest. SVN752

To get maximum speed turn EE/IOP Sync Hack On. Disable Forced ABS crashes PCSX2.
