Ahem, as stated before, DX10 = 4.0, and it can only use 4.0, all others below it are DX9 and under.

You could use a very old version, but with that specs and the old versions you won't get any playable speeds.

i have a problem here.
i running on e8400 with 1gb ati x2900xt
i'm using Gsdx 0.1.7 when i configure the graphics to use direct x 10 i can't seem to change the resolution.
it's at a fixed 512 X 416 resolution even though i changed it to 1024 X 800.
i tried changing to other resolution but all gives the same result.
any ideas how to fix this ?

you must be changing the internal resolution, which is the resolution directX uses internally.

you can't set a custom window resolution.
you must play in fullscreen to change the fullscreen resolution.

You can press ALT+Space, then choose Move to get the cursor out of the window, then resize it to however big you want.

wild arms 3 text issue

when playing wild arms 3 with gsdx 1.7, the text is really messed up,like the screenshot below.this happens only with gsdx and not with kosmos 0.97,so i think the problem is with the graphic plugin.is it a known bug or i can fix it with some tweaking?

configuration: core2duo 2.00 ghz
2 gb ram
8600 gt
windows vista

Whenever I try to load a game, I get an error that says "Error opening GS plugin".

The problem seems to be something with DirectX 10. I'm running vista, and I have DirectX10, but when I select DX10 in the configuration for GSDX SSSE3, I get the error. If I select DX9, it runs just fine. What's the deal?

Do you have a Core 2 Duo or above INTEL Processor? SSSE3 is Intel's right now(C2D and above)

Also, do you even have a DX10 card? Please list your specs and remember, this is not the correct second to post your information.

This isn't the correct second to post? Section? I'm sorry then, figured it would be since the problem pertains to GSdx.

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz is my processor, and a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT is my video card.

Ok then, you probably didn't follow the directions and put the GSdx files in the main PCSX2 folder(The two dll's) You must do this for DX10.

And yes, I meant section, but even so, it's been answered alot, search next time.(It's not a problem with GSdx actually, it's a problem with not following the instructions in the first post)

I got vista just a few days ago, and whenever I click file run cdvd the graphics window opens and then right away crashes and I have no idea what the problem is. I have tried ZeroGS but that doesn't work. The version of pcsx2 doesn't matter either, I tried the 0.9.5 beta and the 0.9.4 build but neither of them made any difference. I tried configuring my graphics plugin in may different ways, but it still didn't work. does anyone know how to solve this?

none of my games work, I tried FFX, FFXII, Shadow Hearts, Shadow hearts 3,(the rest of my games) I don't think it's the ISO because all of the ISOs worked before I updated to vista. I think It has something to do with the graphics plugin...I just don't know what.
