That flickering can't really be fixed - you're skipping frames, you know? Some type of graphical glitch must happen, if you use it with ZeroGS, it looks like you are warping minorly every second or so, I find the black flash's more tolerable(Albiet, not for long) than that.
I have no trouble with Frame Skip in GSdx, though. It can't really be fixed, there is no magical fix to increase your FPS by 25-30% with no downside.

I knew, I knew there was someone who would do that. for the billionth time, there is no 1.8. It's just a ****ty svn compile, and doesn't change crap unless you use software renderer. I would so love if people stopped posting like that

i believe vb 6.0 can only access directX 8 libraries, so its not even possible.
but perhaps on vb.net it is...

It can acess directx 9 libraries. With a wrapper I think vb6 can also access directx 10 libraries(i think there is a wrapper, haven't needed to code in vb6 in a while).

hmm gamersat678, didn't know about that. i stopped coding in vb6 about the time dx9 came out..
kakashisensei, visual c++ 6.0 is one of the buggiest compilers out there. If you can, try and get visual studio 2005 or some other alternative.

Im really not sure if this is the appropriate place
For a GSDx bug report. but im gonna go for it anyways.
The game is Skygunner NTSC version, ive done extensive testing, with the old versions of PCSX2 and the new ones, all give the same, when starting skyguner when using GSDx 1.7 it accually crashes PCSx2. You might be thinking, its probably an error with the emulator or something, not GSDx's fault, but the game boots and plays accually rather well when using ZeroGS and the latest SVN. When using GSDx however, it will crash right away when the game loads, no matter what comibnation of disabling DC mode, or the dynarec. It always crashes. This is not a request or anything. just thought id inform you guys. Im a big fan of this plugin though, as all the other games i play work great with it (: (btw if i've missed something or am completely retarded.. please tell me and I'm sorry) |

visual c++ is pretty solid actually, well at least for me back in the day of Win98 and early XP's although I rather use individual editors + cmd line compilers. Sorry for OOT.
report on NBA 2k8 + CollegeHoops : If I use the SSE2 mode, there is no crowd (but the cheers is there), sometimes the rim are missing + it plays exact 10FPS down comparing to graphically flawless SSSE3+Dx10.Question is, how come it runs slower with less object rendered on screen? thank's. |
