gsdx gets any kind of interface to communicate with pcsx. Surely it can use as much threads as it wants.
Multi threading don´t leads to any problems if you implement it a right way and know what to do (you are right that there are many things you have to pay attention to). Multi threading eats much developing time (much more in our first projects, after that most work is of the same kind) but it´s the most important tool for the next years. 8,16,32.... cores.
I think you misunderstood. What I meant is that the gs plugin is ALREADY using a separate core, and so I think it's a moot point asking for software renderer to be moved to 3rd core. I will admit though that I don't know very well how gsdx work.
As for not leading to any problems, you simplify too much. Anything can be done with time and effort, that much I'll agree. But seriously, how many commercial apps and games are using 4 cores now? 5%? And why? Because it's not easy and it's time consuming and sometimes it's not worth the effort. You need to sync everything, not every step can be parallelised...

Besides I'm tired of people asking to multithread like it was nothing. The source is available, if it's so easy .. well, just code it XD

You need much time to understand the pcsx2 code without that you cannot start changing core things. I am programming since some years. But I donīt think I am on a point to understand such a complex and complicated building .
I think you can do multithreading everytime. But often the implementation is so complicated and the effort you have to do slows the process so much down that it isnīt any faster at the end .
I think there arenīt many games because the technology of multi core cpu's is new and game engines were build 2-5 years before you can buy the game. You will see in the future all games that based on good graphics have a good multi thread implementation.

problem is much of those games will still be GPU dependant making whatever CPU optimizations done pointless (as it has been with newer games anyway )

some more detailed information is needed,

try and report the error as best you can and include pictures of the screen and the black window

have you tried zerogs to determine if it's a pcsx2 problem yet?

and you can probably just play past the problematic part on you real ps2 then go back to pcsx2
(if you have an action replay)

Yes the problem just really GDSX, when I play in his works up adventure that I have to fight and the emulator stops working windows and determine the program.

With zeroGS How do I play a game (too configuration has done to his works). So I try Ultimate ninja 2 and its ultimate ninja 2 plant also avanture mode and non zeroGS its plant but not the game is too slow and there's a very poor quality it is for her that I try not narutimate Accel 2

"It plant" means "it crashed". basicly "planter" is the word used in french when something crashes

@French-France : very hard to understand you

Crashes in Adventure mode have been reported, I can't confirm if this is due to GSDX...

Hi!
Can I somehow record when I play with this plugin? Because I can with Zero, but Narutimate Accel 2 works with just GSdx, but I don't know how can I rec? I try with HyperCam but it slowed the game very much.

Okay, I'm gonna try it, but I think it's working just in games, in PCSX2 not.

i thought of that a while ago as well, but it probably would be a pain to code and it probably will never be as fast as using hardware accelerated Direct X, unless your GFX card is pathetic, but who has a quad-core with a pathetic GFX card? lol
so bottomline, its probably more trouble then its worth.
but if it could be easily implemented somehow, it would be interesting to see the results.

thats not true, modern games are relying more on physics which are done by the CPU or a Physics Card if you have one. Physics cards will probably become useless in the future as games can do their physics calculations w/ multiple-core CPUs instead. Thus the CPU is still very important for modern gaming.

Well gabest has a ton of .gs files to work with now so it will probably be awhile till next release. There isn't much point releasing new plugin if it doesn't even solve most of the bugs in the current version. I suspect people are just getting antsy about gabest not saying anything on the forum rather than complaining about not having a new plugin. To be fair gabest did go AWOL for awhile so its not without merit entirely
