Looks like not completed yet i tried it crushes too.
Everything is fine. He compiled svn 727 with only sse2 and it works. Strange, CPUs that handle sse3 can't handle GSdx with sse3 . Just loke the story with non-sse2 CPUs.

Weird I see no SSE3 build when I try to compile, hope it's not only available for VB2008 as I use 2005.

you guys should just wait for a official release you're stressing too much about it :o

and again it's not SSE3 it's SSSE3

Yep, better wait. Gabest should be able to make a very nice SSSE3 release, which in the best case could squeeze a bit more FPS for those CPUs that can make use of it.

I find that some games play at full speed while others...15fps so the speed increase would be much obliged if there happens to be one.

gamersat678, you can upload dumps of very slow games here, so Gabest will be able to have a look on them. BTW, please, change Manhunt 2 from in-game to playable in your compability list . GSdx v0.1.5 and PCSX2 svn269

oh, I hope it will be sse3 release. And why it is called as sse3 everywhere (files, profiles for VS...), but not ssse3?

Isn't SSE3 and SSSE3 more like SSE4 (at least in my eyes) different things, introduced since Core 2 Duo launch. AMD has SSE3 support since Socket 939 90nm launch, Venice and San Diego single core AMD64 cpus. Intel had SSE3 support already since Pentium 4 Prescott. I think Intel really should have called SSSE3 -> SSE4 but I guess due to the not so great instructions set in SSSE3, they thought it wasn't worth the '4'. Seems like SSE4.1 that the upcoming (and already available QX9650) Intel Penryn CPUs will have a lot more useful instructions set than came with SSSE3.

Read this article for a view over instructions in SSE4.1.
(For comparision's sake SSSE3, which list looks more useful?

Don't know if any SSE4.1 instructions would come handy for emulation though.

I'm just wondering, did new SVN got rid of the Naruto Ultimate ninja 2 crash problem? Sorry for the offtopic, but I don't know where else to ask. If it has, could someone send me the SVN? ^^ Or if there is not much of improvement, I don't need it, it's OK.
