I just wanted to report this to gabest...
When Vsync enabled, FPS gets naughty for some reasons.. I tried enabling VSync through both GSdx or my VGA's control panel, same results..
VSyns makes GSdx unstable no matter how many FPS you get and no matter how much HZ you set your monitor refresh rate to.

actually gabest said he only needed someone to convert some classes to OpenGL and that it wasnt that many, still that doesnt say much about linux native support

Hi! Since the last two releases of the plugin I get a lot of flickering in all the games, no matter wich plugin options are checked. What could it be? I don't think I installed new drivers in the last weeks.

Btw, I also cannot take shots with F8. Not even black snaps.
I tried pressing fast and slowly but no shots are created in their directory. Incidentally I did a lot of snapshots with older releases of GSdx.

For flickering, most probably you are applying Frame skip mode.Change it to Normal by pressing F4 or from the cpu settings in pcsx2.I don't know about screenshots, but F8 works well with me.On the contrary,F7 stopped showing information in full screen mode, but I think this is well known, not to mention that it's not that buggy :P .

Checked a few .gs:

- disgaea 1: text fixed
- ffxii: z fighting
- gdf: forgot what is wrong with this, looks ok, hw/sw same.
- gt4: set brightness 0, no fix yet
- hotshotstennis: lots of bad input data, could be a pcsx2 error
- manhunt2: crazy pproc effect, removed.
- metal slug 6: the red component of the vertices is simply set to 0, no idea what could be wrong, menu looks ok, but I'm not sure.
- rumble roses: skull heads fixed
- soul calibur 2: selecting necrid bad with sw/hw, no idea.
- soul reaver 2: texture fixed.
- spectral force chronicles: can't really see the "environment bugs", fps at 30, no counter is too high though.
- street figher ex: spikey polygon syndrome.
- suikoden3: z fighting, spikey shadows
- super robot taisen ... + spectral vs generation: sw/hw both wrong, something is very broken with these, can't tell yet.
- tekken 4: frame buffer and depth at the same address, but it masks the output to only write one at a time, weird (1st .gs, the second is just a pixel center problem as I see).
- the bouncer: can't see any graphical errors.

1.5 upped.

The mentioned fixes + dx10 got faster, now it is nearly as fast as dx9 (where it was still slower, ffxii license plates, re4).

I'm looking for a gt4 ntsc/us dump (real one, not .gs), or a .gs dump with 1080i mode enabled.

Forgot about one thing, the gs recording will go on as long as you keep holding the control key.

Okay here goes: Disgaea 2, graphical errors that were not present in 1.0

(In the Now Loading Screenshot, this only appears after u have entered the town map and used the dimentional gate keeper)

(In the second screenshot the base panel, as u can see, has a square bracket around it. If u can see it that is...)

WOOHOOW! gabest, you're really rock, man! You are the hero of our time! Just know that everyone related to emulation respects you very much! I hope everything will be great for you in new year! you gift us so many happyness with every your release, it's just amazing! Thank you so much, I even can't describe in english how much I love you and respect your work! Happy new year ofcourse!
About manhunt, now I'm getting the same 22 fps in first FMV, more then 65 in menu and 25-27 in-game. Thats just great! There is only one thing which is still wrong. Emu crashes after first FMV if internal resolution is native or higher then native (640x360 btw). With 512x512 it works fine. Didn't try values beetwen it. Have any ideas? Anyway thanks again for your amazing work.
And, btw, i didn't remember if I asked it before, so... Colorfull garbage in God Of War 2 (in-game) is PCSX2 problem or not? In-game menu and FMVs works fine. BTW, I'm getting the same problem with ZeroGS, but anyway.. So, is there any sense in posting dump here?

Don't have any of them. A crash can't be saved into a .gs :P, but I can take a look on GoW2.
