nah both are the same.
don't have fraps installed, but the music is slow like in windowed mode

the strangest thing is: its only slower on the highroad.
in the intro i get the same fps in XP and vista.

I didnt need them both so I ask them to be merged

basically my old account "shadow lady" had changed a lot and when I wanted to post here again I didnt remember the nick or password, since i had asked it to be changed and buried, so I created a new one but wanted the old name so I asked for a merge of both (yeah yeah I change my mind a lot, whatever!)

if u're checking at "all posts" it only shows the last 500 posts :P

so what i forgot to say:
it doesn't really matter what skin i use in vista: aero 3D,basic or just classic.
i always get ~34-36fps in Vista and 45fps in XP.

and the other thing i noticed is that its not really fluent in vista when it slows down under 40fps, the frames are so bumpy.
in XP its more fluent under 40fps.

so the problem is definitely the OS and not the driver/emu configurations or the hardware.
i'm using the same configurations in both OS'es.

will try FFXII and other games later.

hey gabest! great job on your releases! I think I actually skipped over a version because you're releasing so fast.

Here's a problem I recently found in Disgaea 2. Happened as shown and it also occured with another spell/skill I think, but don't recall what atm.

crashlog...

Yo!

recently I had a crash of the emulator when playing ffxii with the latest plugin in dx9 mode (only mode I can use since in xp) and the crappy error report in xp just told me that the reason was the gsdx. A little frustrated I went to seek a way to get error/crashes to be logged and found a little program that lets me to this easily. its called Inspector IIXII and once run it will ask u if you want the program to log crashes and hangs of programs. Easy to use and handy I thought since many have crashes and no way of reporting these to developers.

Be sure to create a folder in your programs folder like "inspectr" or something and when any program crashes it will ask you if you wanna create a log. The program is 7kb and does NOT work in the background it simply creates a reg entry telling the os to let Inspector IIXII handle the logging.

Here you can read about it: Logging program crashes and freezes using Inspector IIXII - Opera Knowledge Base

Thanks for your hard work, Gabest!
With this plugin I can play Tales of Destiny remake almost at fullspeed (55FPS) with some grafical errors in the world map :

Edit:Forgot to mention : I'm using Gsdx 0.1.1, pcsx2 crashes with this game at the begining before showing anything since 0.1.2.
CRC:A90CD846

Edit2: I tried Gsdx 0.1.4 again and the crash is gone (I have reinstalled pcsx2 and erased all the plugins. Maybe there was some kind of incompatibility with the plugins?). However, the errors are still there.
Sorry for editing so much

Its plugin has written for DirectX. Gabest many times asked for somebody, who knows OpenGL, to make a OpenGL version.

^^ It is not possible because linux doesn t have rhe api of DirectX and Gabest work only wit DirectX.Graphic is based only on opengl on linux .OnpeGl is more simple because doesn t have more effect but still have limit for 3D but for a pcsx2 a port isn t possible you must rewrite all for the beginning ^^.
