Could be this game shifts the image when drawing, and not just simply changing the top-left of the display. I could verify it, but I'm lazy :P

Looks the same as ffx-2's pause screen. I had to disable that fix because it breaks other games like kh1.

Thanks to haunting ground I found a few bugs in the sw renderer (related to z textures and render targets). This explains why there were still a few games looking wrong with it. For d3d, I'll see what I can do, but what this game does is almost impossible to emulate, skipping will be the solution.

No, the first number is just a frame counter. What interesting are (performance-wise) the last three (four) numbers, and the one (two) before the cpu usage. On the first pic 14927/726 means it draws 14927 prims in 726 drawing calls, this is not too high, at 1000 drawing calls 30 fps or more is possible. 1855 | 495/0 | 0 is texture swizzling | unswizzling | upload to video card, this is very low, with dx9 it is a lot higher, the game is probably using region repeat a lot, which is not done with the pixel shader there. A few thousand is normal, 10k+ can hurt a bit, that's why the lower fps. But it still does not explain the low 10fps with dx10. I'm going to try to get the game to see.

I just noticed the fps is the other way around. Hmmm. Are other games running normal with dx10?

10fps is DX9!!!! DX10 is 1.67fps. average fps for this game is 30-60fps
tryed all skip modes it not improve situation any good even vmskip.
Xenosaga I continue menu memory card choose
DX10 - text present
DX9 - all options enabled, text absent
DX10 - lower fps than old DX9 renderer
and all X1&3 suffers from seek errors??(e.g. randomly asking to skip movie)
all other games (Rogue Galaxy first battle(it suffers also from controler input bug),FullMetalAlchemist) run good with DX10 renderer.
hmm surface region repeat?.. hmm if my memory correct there is some fnc for it in DX SDK i wonder if it uses direct video memory... and you know a lot more than me about DX programming

Disgaea 1 with GSdx doesn't show any text in-game, the text boxes are all blank (it doesn't show portraits either).
I was unable to find anyone else with this problem so I assume I'm one of the only ones with it:
I tried several GSdx9 and GSdx version ranging from 0.9.0 to 0.1.3.
I tried changing all of the settings in GSdx (including enabling log. Z but EXCLUDING pixel shader 3.0 which my card cannot support)
ZeroGS does show the text and so does GSdx with software rendering. Both are very slow, though.
Talking about slowness, and likely the main culprit to my problem, my computer has a nvidia 5200 graphics card, yes - that's the earliest nvidia card with pixels shaders 2.0 (and slow ones at that). Yes, I know the problem will be fixed if I upgrade and/or play on the real console.
Basically - i find it quite sad that the only thing that's really wrong is a bug that only I seem to experience.
Help would be appreciated.

one more bug.. water picture is correct generaly but after few seconds it display
some pictures like this and then returns to normal.

have you taken the d3d file and placed it in the pcsx2 folder as well as the plugin?

Could it be because of the PAL version? Maybe. But I don't have the NTSC version to check. I think it's unlikely because both ZeroGS and GSdx in software mode show the text fine.

Aiton - isn't that's what you're supposed to do just to get the plugin running at all?

Hello everyone, first post:

I don't know if that was intentional, but there seems to be a pixel doubling effect since 0.1.2 (which stayed in 0.1.3), see attachments for comparison.
Game is armored core 3, both plugins were set the exactly same way (windowed, D3D hardware, PS3.0, weave bff, 4:3, native res, no filtering nor log Z, FBA on, NLOOP, tv-out and vsync are off).
Happens in every version of pcsx2 i have (0.9.2, 0.9.4 and svn-compiled 0.9.5 - rev250-260ish).
Looks fugly.

Also, weave deinterlacing no longer have that annoying sawtooth effect, but framerate is "halved" like if i was using blend... you might want to look into it.

Oh, and btw, gsdx really need a changelog, don't you think?

Edit: Well, since vBulletin doesn't display the file names, for clarity,left pic is gsdx 0.1.1, right pic is gsdx 0.1.2

Gabest I tested DMC2 with rev. 265 and in were not with that one bug of the black screen that I showed the photo previously, this want to say that he is not bug in plugin and yes in the emulator, this plugin is the animal.

Hmm. I tried checking some stuff with 3d analyzer and it seems that my issue is a z/w(whichever is the default)-buffer issue : when i told 3danalyze to force w-buffer, gsdx complained about having to use z-buffer (???) but ran anyway - lots of stuff looked wrong but the text showed.
