Thumbs up

Hi Gabest! Haven't posted anything for a long time.
I tested Tekken 5 with latest GSdx and PCSX2 svn 265.
Don't know if it was mentioned before...
1) If I choose non-native resolution I'm getting black thin vertical stripes (all screens)
2) In one fight suddenly I got a few vertical blue stripes, they mooved over the screen.. (screenshots 2,3)
3) In some locations there is a strange effect, don't know how to describe it, so have a look on it by yourself - screens 4,5
And thanks again for your awesome work! We even haven't enough time to completely test new version coz another new version is released next day !Thanks god that there is such a great man in this world .. Good LucK

And, btw, I'm always getting corrupted graphics after quick save, them closing the emu, starting again and loading it. At least in FFX. I haven't got such problem with earlier versions.

Strange but in Tekken 5 I dont have black stripesO_o (i'm using 1024x768 res and 800x800 internal) And 2 last screens it's wrong bloom. In some other games bloom is not working correctly too (I've mensioned it before)

Hm... I got black stripes with 1024x1024 and with 2048x2048.
After reading your post I tried 800x800 and it works! No stripes. I decided to try 2x bigger resolution (1280x896 instead of 640x448) but stripes are here again. That's bad, coz graphic in 800x800 is still far from real hires..
Try your version with 1024x1024 please, maybe thats only NTSC problem..

Yea in the 1024x1024 internal res i have this lines. But my brain thought little bit and made the cure. Just set internal res in 1020x1020 and stripes would go away. Enjoy guys!
P.S. From now on I would use this res in Tekken 5. You can try to experiment with higher res, maybe it would work!

As some people have already stated there are lines and blockiness with the new version of gsdx plugin (0.1.2). Changing the resolution does help but does not actually solve the graphical issues. Occurs often when testing disgaea 2.

I just played disgaea 2 from start to the first tutorial battle and only saw problems without the log z option. No holes in textures. This is really strange. (there is one problem though, my eye suffers from the low res sprites )

Anyway, I've uploaded a new build, 1.2 was so broken that it had to be updated :P

checked 1.3 version bugs of 1.2 gone in Xenosaga3
but annoying performance question still exists
there is some rare(passed 3 episodes and found only 1 yet) places in xenosaga3 where fps drops drasticaly for some part of area( from 30~60->1-6)
i checked DX9 renderer it's slow down too but keeps a little higher fps DX10 ~1-2 DX9 ~4-6
(btw i checkit on different pcsx2 PS2CLK/BIAS it's pure gpu plugin slowdown)
so question is what GSDX settings affect performance,it's possible to add hack options like zerogs have?.
OS Vistx64 pcsx2 265 gsdx 1.3 DX10 renderer 8600GT 512DDR2

u sure it is GSdx? did it show using 99% cpu use in the GSdx window for those areas? ZeroGS does the same?

yes 88-99% framelimit=30 and 93-99 framelimit=normal(at end of window title).zeroGS have many bugs with xenosaga3 and slow (about 1-6 fps, zeroGS ver 97.1) so it's difficult to test, but tested on gsdx9 11.4 ..same picture.

What numbers are on the titlebar at that scene? A screenshot of the window is enough.

Wow, screen position control in the options of haunting grounds actually move the picture. Lets see the game itself now

Looks really detailed, just that funny effect is destroying the end-result.

Only sw mode shows the videos. Yay, in-game is horrible with it.
