Tell us what graphics card you're running.

Same problem here with a intel GMA950 on linux gentoo i686 on a core duo.

Xorg 7.3
mesa-6.5.2-r1

If the card doesn't support pixel shader 2.0 (I think that's the case... EDIT : seems it supports it) where can I find a plugin that works ?

When launching from a Terminal I get :
ZeroGS: ERROR: Need GL_EXT_framebufer_object for multiple render targets

While your display adapter may support those pixel shaders, it sounds like it lacks other needed features that aren't available. I would not suggest attempting to use ZeroGS on an onboard video card. Stick with gsdx9 if anything.

That would be possible if microsoft made a LINUX version of directx... or released its sourcecode as it is not the case, I cannot use that plugin.

I know that...

but my problem here is that there is no other plugin for graphic in the official build and I just can't find how to compile GSsoft sources (no Makefile.am, no configure script..., and when trying to include /usr/include/gtk-2/ on a gcc command line I get even more errors than without it)

EDIT: Found the makefile but gives me an error...

IIRC, GSsoft is reeeaaaally old, like 0.7 version.
The plugin spec has changed a few times.

If ZeroGS OpenGL doesnt work on your video card, it means the card cant handle pcsx2. You probably needs to buy a better card.

That is not an option...

This is a laptop I can't change the card.

And if the plugin is not compatible, why is it part of the source distribution ?

Just because you don't have the hardware to use it doesn't mean it's not compatible. Sorry, but looks like you won't be able to use PCSX2 on that laptop (at least not with Linux anyways).

For compatibility I was talking about GSsoft it is part of the source 7z, but it is not possible to compile it. And Mad said it is old and all... So I was wondering why it was in the archive if it is not compatible.

I know that ZeroGS works and that it is better than all the others plugins... What I would like is a plugin that works with my chip... does it exist ?
