controls don't work

I load up kingdom hearts it gets to the newgame or continue screen. I've set up my controller plugin for my controller but it wont let me chose X,SQUARE,O,TRIANGLE. so i cna mvoe the analog sticks but i can't use any of the other buttons i am using the default controller plugin as the padwin doesn't do anythig any help?

Kingdom Hearts using only Analog movements, so to play it with the keyboard
You can use the brilliant LilyPad plugin (founded stickey in this section)
it has awesome options, or you can use my TwinPad plugin
