hey guys im playing Kingdom Hearts 1 on pcsx2 using an Xbox360 controller with this plugin, but for some reason it doesnt let me run while moving diagonal. For instance if im running straight then want to kinda goto the right it makes me start walking that way instead of running like i was. REALLY irritating. I was wondering if anyone knows how to correct this problem. thanks so much in advance.

First I've heard of this issue. You could try different Xbox 360 DirectInput drivers.
Edit: Also, have you played with the sensitivity values of the relevant axes? KH uses left stick for movement, right? Last edited by ChickenLiver; May 13th, 2008 at 13:13. |

ok first of all, yes it uses the left stick. I dont know what values i should mess with for the axis either. You were also talking about another driver. Where could i find it? i only got the one windows finds when i plug in my xbox360 controller.

There's been mention of an xbcd driver and one or two others. Don't have an Xbox 360, or an Xbox 360 controller, so I don't know anything about it. Sensitivity should just be the default (1.0). It's just the only thing that made sense that I could think of that could cause that problem.
Note: Just because I can't think of anything else that makes sense doesn't mean there isn't anything else. Or that the cause of the problem necessarily makes sense. Last edited by ChickenLiver; May 14th, 2008 at 12:44. |

Hey guys I'm new to the forums and this is my first post, but I already think I can help some people out. I was Having MANY problems trying to get my plugins to detect. I tried Lilypad, Twinpad, and Megapad even though I'm a Keyboard user. For some reason none of the plugins would be detected by PCSX2 0.9.4. Even though I added the correct files to the Root and Plugin Folders.
The Fix: 1). Open PCSX2 2). Click on Configure 3). Click Configure in the Configure Drop-Down menu 4). Click Set Plugins Directory 5). Redirect the files to your Plugin Directory (even if you know you have it set right) 6). Close PCSX2 7). Open PCSX2 8). Click the Configure tab 9). Click Configure in the Configure Drop-Down menu 10). Open the Controller Drop-Down menu all of your plugins that were missing should now be detected. I believe this to be a problem with PCSX2 not autorefreshing the plugins file (which means you have to do it manually) but I could be wrong. I hope this helps people. P.S. Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before but I tried using the search feature and found nothing. If it has been posted before, Mods feel free to delete this post and sorry for wasting everones time. |

Hi everyone. I need help with a game: 'The Warriors' (game from the classic film). I can only move the character to the right, i checked 'start in analog mode' and configured keys for analog but nothing works! This happen with every pad plugin, using the keyboard.
It's an emulator problem? Thnks nd good work. |

If you're using analog, make sure you didn't change the sensitivity of the sticks, there are some values that gives kinda weird results. It happened to me too on FFX2 while I was doing some troubleshooting... (I suspected floating point values to be the cause)

If it happens with every pad plugin, I suspect it's a PCSX2 issue. At least the only other issue of game behaving really oddly in the same way for multiple plugins that I know of was a PCSX2 issue. Do any other games that use the sticks work correctly for you?

MontBlanc, your problem is weird, I don't know how to fix it. Must be an emulation bug as you suspect it
WhoShotYa, make a new topic, post your system specs and current emulator settings

@ChickenLiver:
Hi^^, you wrote the best controller-plugin for emus But I got a big problem: Your Plugin is the only one, that supports FF for my controller (SPEEDLINK DUAL SHOCK ADAPTER with original Playstation2 dualshock 2 controller), any other plugin can't send the right input signal to get ff to work... I use now v0.8.4@32bit with several Emus, but the main thing is: Just the tests work correctly, ingame i don't have FF... Thats strange and I decided to use v0.91... After that, non of your FF-Modi works! (FF1/FF2/FF3/FF4 with Constant/Sine/Ramp/Square) What can I do now? Evererst Ultimate Edition says: Field Value DirectInput Device Properties Device Description SPEED-LINK DUAL SHOCK ADAPTER Device Type Unknown Device Subtype Unknown Axes 5 Buttons/Keys 12 DirectInput Device Features Emulated Device Yes Alias Device No Polled Device No Polled Data Format No Attack Force Feedback Supported Deadband Force Feedback Supported Fade Force Feedback Supported Force Feedback Supported Saturation Force Feedback Supported +/- Force Feedback Coefficients Supported +/- Force Feedback Saturation Not Supported I need some support please, even if you can just tell me which of your source files is responsible for the FF-Signals, it would be much help... I don't own games, which support FF, then I cannot test my FF ingame... But the driver works correctly, when I test the FF, it works perfectly... Ah, the last Mode, that worked with the test with v0.84 was FF1-Constant/Sqaure/Ramp/Sine@1.0 (Big Motor) and FF1-Constant/Sqaure/Ramp/Sine@0.3 (Small Motor); I don't know how to give you more detailed information, sry... The last thing I have, is the Dynamic Library, which is the driver itself... Im using Vista Ultimate x64; it was a wonder, that the XPx64-driver worked for this system (there is no official vistax64-driver) Hope you can help me, GothicIII Last edited by GothicIII; May 19th, 2008 at 22:34. |

So FF works for you in 0.8.4, but not 0.9.1?
Try the "LilyPad test.rar" on page 12. I switched to using multi-dimensional forces in a single direction in 0.9.1 so force feedback would work with Gigahertz's buggy drivers, but it turns out that another set of buggy DirectInput drivers work only with single-dimensional forces. Basically, I need to add a toggle to switch between the types of forces needed by different buggy drivers (Non-buggy drivers work with both types of forces). Next release will have this, but as there are no other changes I'm thinking of making any time soon, and I consider it too minor a change for a new release just for that, probably be a while before I decide to release a new version. |

FFConst does work? Hmm...That's odd. I was thinking it wouldn't. How many force feedback axes does LilyPad say you have? If it's only 2, then there might be something else going on (Namely, a bug for me to fix, though the option in the config screen for the two modes would work as well).
