i have some issues with the latest version of lilypad 0.8.4;

if i want to bind a key with my speed link dual shock adapter (with a SONY DualShock2 Controller) i got only "achsis 6"--> not button 11 or X-achsis etc...
and i tried also to bind a key to my keyboard... that did work, but if i start pcsx2, nothing happens if i push the buttons -.-

What can i do?

I have vista 64

sry for my bad english, but im sleepy and tiered

EDIT: PCSX2 0.9.5 build 239 doesn't recognise the 64bit version of lilypad; is that normal?
EDIT2: Ok, now i managed it somehow; had to try it out for 20 times per button-.-; but it works now^^

Good Night GothicIII

Button labels come from DirectX, which gets them from the drivers. To see the names of all buttons, and the values LilyPad is reading from them, select the control pad and use the "Test Device" button on the first screen. I'm not sure why you're having issues configuring LilyPad, but that page shows you exactly what I'm reading and may indicate what the problem is.

Only 64-bit versions of PCSX2 recognize the 64-bit version of LilyPad. PCSX2 0.9.5 build 239 is, to the extent of my knowledge, only available as a 32-bit binary (If you download the SVN source and compile it yourself, it is not, of course, build 239).

Yea be sure to do that just in case. You learnt it in a scary way but I'm glad things worked out in the end. Remember ePSXe?

Yeah, I did the test already, but there weren't any problems...
That's why it is so strange...
Maybe its an issue of the driver, cause its normally for vista x86....for vista x64 there is no driver on the world--> But it works, strange, but works perfektly like on a 32-bit machine
I had a similar problem with TMU; but only one time, after I restarted the computer, everything was fine...

Enable the "Allow multiple binding" checkbox on the first page, then bind the axis to both axes as normal. The second binding won't remove the first, like it would otherwise. Not the clearest description, but there's not much space for something clearer (Edit: The description in the config screen isn't clear, that is).

Anyone know why my pcsx2 0.9.4 stops responding when I try to configure lilypad? I press the configure button and it stops.

First I've heard of that problem.

Try deleting LilyPad's ini file, if there is one (Would be in the ini directory). The most complicated things I do when you enter the configuration screen are load that file...And gather all information about your Direct Input devices. What devices do you have, beyond a standard mouse and keyboard? You could try unplugging anything unusual and see if that gets around the problem (I'm not suggesting this as a solution, but as a way to diagnose the issue).

Also, what operating system you running (w2k/XP/Vista, service pack (If not the latest), 32/64-bit, and language - could be a language issue of some sort, though I don't think it is). And one last thing: Does it crash when you enter LilyPad's configuration screen or PCSX2's configuration screen, and if the former, does LilyPad's configuration window pop up before it locks up?

Won't have a chance to look into it until I return home after winter break in about 2 weeks. Might have to make a debug version or two to diagnose the issue.

Sorry, I'm not following. Do the settings for your rumblepad look just like mine, and vibration doesn't work, or are you unable to select the vibration axes in the pulldown menu?

To configure vibration, select the actual motor your want to bind in the pulldown menu and then select which motor you want to bind it to. If the pull down menu is empty, you may have to install the software that came with the RumblePad (A more recent version would also work fine), even if all the buttons are working fine.

As I told before, I have a digital PSX pad.. I mapped both digital and analog (left axis) to the digital axis of my pad.. now in games I cannot move characters still.. is this even possible? so I can play both digital and analog games with my PAD?

The issue is, If I play a game that uses only left analog stick to move the player, it does NOT move.. instead it opens the map or what ever the digital axis does in that game...

If moving the digital axis brings up a map that prevents movement, sounds perfectly logical to me - It's acting as if you're pressing both at once. Try using both digital and analog axes at the same time on your PS2 and see if the behavior's any different.

Sure, I know.
I wanted a solution or a feature and I was wondering if it's POSSIBLE with your plugin, that's it... maybe a feature to switch between axis when pressing some buttons combination or keyboard button or something like that..

KOC2000: Ahh...ok, I follow. Allowing switching between different profiles would also be useful for using different configurations for different games (Like games that use circle instead of cross for their primary button...Damn them all!!). Currently not possible, but a good idea.

neilsouth: Odd...Not sure why you'd have to flip an axis to get the directions right. In most cases, the default direction mapping should be correct.

Pressing Up or Down in fighting games like Tekken4 doesn't jump or crouch instead it steps forward and backward.. but if I press Right or Left + Up or Down to jumps and crouches... what could be wrong ?
