Damn, i changed to MS Sans Serif, but the result is the same. Nothing changes.
I'll have to reinstall my windows someday. I can still try and make configurations on the other pc and copy the configurations into this one. I'll try.

DPI is standard. I think i messed everything up in the past when i had a previous version of WindowsBlinds and by playing around with fonts i changed something.
I can't find a solution. I'll just wait for a MegaPad fix which will prevent my PCSX2 from crashing, i guess. I'm a patient person ^_^

Well... Here goes it. <n00b>
I've installed LilyPad, and used it to play Rock Band once. Now whenever I start it it thinks it's the controller and not a guitar. This happens everytime. I've enabled/disabled the Gutiar Hero 2 hack, and I've tried the keyboard and a few different controllers. I've pretty much eliminated everything I can think of. So is this a bug or do I need to clear a cache file or something? But knowing my luck it's prolly in a stick somewhere. :P</n00b> Thanks, -Free |

Ohh..sorry...misread that. Thought you were having trouble turning guitar mode off. Anyways, not sure what's going on.
Just to make sure I understand... You do see the guitar configuration screen when you click on the pad 1 tab, but Rock Band itself doesn't think controller 1 is a guitar? It shouldn't matter what you have bound to pad 1 - when guitar mode is on, pad 1 identifies itself marginally differently and says d-pad left is always down. |

The GH2 hack must be disabled for Rock Band, by the way (I know you've said you've tried it both ways, so that's not the problem. Just one less thing you need to be playing with. It should only be enabled for GH2 (And possibly GH1)).
First I've heard of this issue. Skimming over the relevant code, all looks to be fine, so I have no idea what the problem is. Don't think I can help you, unfortunately. You could try putting both pads in Guitar mode, though I don't think that'll help. |

The strange thing is that it worked for me once before... Are there any cache files I could clear to see if that's the problem?
Using pad2 now. Works fine... Hmmm, strange... Last edited by freeqaz; June 26th, 2008 at 22:50. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

You could delete the config file (inis\LilyPad.ini), or all of the entries in its "[General Settings]" area. That's where everything except the bindings are stored. Edit: Guitar lines are in the pad1/pad2 sections. Forgot about that.
One other thing: You can't pause PCSX2 and then change the guitar mode. The pad has to identify itself early in the start up process, and I can't simulate a controller change. Last edited by ChickenLiver; June 30th, 2008 at 03:56. |

Thank you for all the help. I've gotten it working, I just have to use pad 2. If anyone has the same problem just tell them to use pad 2.
Again, thank you for the help. I wouldn't have figured it out without you. ^-^ |

I have a problem...i haven't seen this specific one addressed here so i will ask...When trying to do lulu's overdrive in FFX the right analog will not work although it is mapped correctly. I saw in another thread that it was a problem with it needing perfect circles and the plugin didn't account for that...so i am asking is there a way to get perfect circles so i can use her overdrive?
BTW Excellent plugin IMO the best pad plugin out there |

You're exactly correct about the cause of the issue. With one set of keys bound to the analog stick, you can only move in 8 directions. There's no logical way to add more with only 4 keys. I could interpolate, but then I'm sending a direction you're not pressing, and the result is suddenly frame rate dependent, as I don't know the actual frame rate or the target frame rate...Just not a good idea. This is not an issue if you're using an actual game pad of some sort. No clue about mouse, but if you're using mouse to try this, TwinPad's mouse implementation might be easier for Lulu's overdrive.
One possible keyboard workaround you could try is to bind two sets of keys to the analog buttons, and rotate them slightly out of sync. You could manage 16 directions this way (RR->RRU->RU->UUR->U, where R is right and U is up). Not sure if it'd be good enough, but if really want to try it, by all means, do so. You could also try using the numpad, and binding 7, 9, 3, and 1 to two directions by enabling multiple binding. Bind 7 to both up and left, etc. Then just do 4->4+7->7->7+8->8 to get the same result as you'd get with using two sets of analog buttons (You could get more than 16 with those bindings, but then you'd have to do 1+4+7+8 between 4 and 4+7, which isn't very practical and probably hard to manage to do perfectly, though you could replace 4 with 1+4+7 to make it easier). If that's not enough, you could try 3 sets of bindings, but that's getting a bit silly. Last edited by ChickenLiver; July 1st, 2008 at 03:10. |

No...d-pad probably won't work at all (At least a lot of d-pads only give 1 of 9 possible values - 8 directions and no direction). If you're using an actual pad controller, as you are, it should work. I assumed you were using a keyboard. Not sure what's going wrong, then.

Bump for minor update. Basically just what was already discussed in the thread, and a work around for the messed up config screen when font settings are messed up.
For anyone writing apps using Windows dialogs, the trick is to use the "MS Shell Dlg" font instead of "MS Sans Serif", as the former has the undocumented feature of ignoring whatever undocumented setting changes affect control placement on dialogs. guys, any idea how to enable Vibration on xbox 360 wireless game pad with plug-in on vista x32?
The only plug-in which supports vibrations ouy of the box is xpad, and its special xbox only plug-in, but i have issues in some games with left analog stick.
