In FF-X the cutscenes look like in this report post:
[Final Fantasy X] - graphical glitches during cutscenes I'm using last version. With GSdx plugin, cutscenes appear pretty well, but in-game image is very poor. With ZeroGS the image is very beautiful, looks much better, AA possibility, etc, i like it!!! Just the cutscenes don't work well

Zerofrog, your plugin is great, but the OpenGL version is unusable. I would provide a snapshot but the OpenGL creates invalid snapshots (DirectX version creates good snapshots).
Worms3D : DirectX version is fine. OpenGL version : Graphics are distorted and blurry, when menu comes, I've sometimes random crashes, if not I've grey screen for a moment, and then graphics show up, but as for intro they're very damn ugly and texts are missing. Buzz - The big quiz : same, DirectX version is fine, OpenGL version has blurry and distorted graphics. BIOS : as always, DirectX version is fine, OpenGL version has same graphics problems, texts can't be read and, on top of all, it causes slowdown (60 to 40 FPS). OpenGL version has been designed for Linux, so I think the Win32 port isn't good enough because of that.

It will be slow no matter what you do howling, Intel GMA's are pretty much the worst of the worst you could ever get. As far as I know they dont work wth ZeroGS at all (they dont with my older laptop at any rate).

FFX Slow
I am using PCSX2 0.9.4 with FFX, but it is slow, about 10-20 fps. Using ZeroGS KOSMOS (no SSE2) 0.97.0 with Specular Highlights checked in the Advanced Options shoots it up to 50fps, but then the map in the upper left corner of the screen disappears. I tried the ZeroGS KOSMOS OpenGL 0.96.7 plugin because it has the Parallelize Contexts Option (whatever that means). But when I go in to configure the plugin, it crashes the emulator when I click OK, even if I don't change anything. I'm running AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 3600+, 896MB RAM, 1.91 GHz, GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. I don't know if I have OpenGL compatibility. Any ideas to make FFX faster? Thanks.

Do you have the CG toolkit installed ? I know this is required for ZeroGS OpenGL.
Fpr the crash problem, you can't do anything except if you know C/C++ a little. Anyway I'm not sure if you'll get a good quality image. I tried the OpenGL version with some games and even the BIOS, I got a blurry and distorted image, whereas DirectX version works fine.

Hi everyone! I don't know if anyone already had this problem (it would take ages to read all the messages and i'm lazy XD ). Basically when i use ZeroGS 0.97 in FFX (bilinear filtering, anti-aliasing 4x, 16:9) i have problems watching cinematics.... actually i can't see them at all, instead i have just a screen that consists of small blocks of actual picture, while the sound plays well... I'll come home and post screenshots.
My PC: Intel Core2 Quad Q6700 2.7 Ghz GeForce 8600 GT 512 Mb Realtek Audio integrated 4 Gb DDR2 RAM |

Help please.
I have problems using ZeroGS Kosmos 0.9.7.1 (sse2), the game won't start and whatever settings I use it just shows up an windows error report everytime the game is about to start.
![]() I can actually use ZeroGS 0.9.7 (sse2), but when I use this one I can't get the game to come up in a good Fps (8-10 fps when playing castlevania Loi) so it really isn't much fun playing... ![]() I don't know what more to say... Is there really a big difference from these versions? My pc (just in case): Microsoft Windows XP, Version 2, Service Pack 2... AMD Athlon XP 1800+ Sapphire RADEON X700 PRO 1,5 Ghz, 1,25 GB RAM I've had alot of problems with Pcsx2 lately and if anyone can help a little I'll be greatfull |
