ZeroGS got an update? when?

its still version 0.97.1, even on the SVN.
if you searching for it, download it here: ZeroGS Kosmos 0.97.1 SSE2

PM ZeroFrog if you want that he should put it in the first post.

Who the heck said there was an update? All I said was if there IS an update, I think it'll be the best for everyone if the first post of this thread is updated like Gsdx9/10

Usually the newer versions gets released along with the emulator, as the default plugin as this is currently the most compatible pcsx2 plugin. And yea, I think he made the sound plugin.

"Error opening GS plugin" with a Geforce FX5200 on Linux.

Hi, I'm kind of stuck when I meet this. Because gsLog.txt doesn't provide much info where it went wrong.
last line is:

ZeroGS: Disabling MRT depth writing

And I'm using Linux with latest nvidia drivers on kernel 2.6.23 and latest CG toolkit to compile the ZeroGS plugin.
If anyone has any idea what might be causing this. Or any further details are needed( I do coding and fiddled debugger a bit. ), I would gladly to provide all I can give.
Thanks for any possible reply in advance. And thank you for the plugin and emulator even it's doomed to be not working for me.

Some other details in gsLog.txt, there are 2 warnings like:

ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: OGL WARNING: Need GL_EXT_blend_equation_separate
ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: OGL WARNING: multiple render targets not supported, some effects might look bad
ZeroGS: *********

Is that GL_EXT_blend_equation_separate necessary? If so, why it's put in WARNING? I would really appreciate someone who is familiar with Linux graphic rendering to help.

maybe the performance is "pathetic" that doesnt explain why it isnt working

Try them both. Choose the one which works better with the game.

so you have an intel accelerator?

right im giving you a warning, that was blatantly complete spam (nobody asked you what gfx card you have) and 2 absurdly stupid suggestions like "fixing the plugin will make everything work". Seriously, get a brain.

Thanks zerofrog for a great plugin. It works great on my Windows machine.
I’m trying to get this working in linux, though, and I’ve been running into the same issue for the last 6 months. The pcsx2 GUI comes up okay, but when I try to open any game, it says: Error loading GS Plugin, and freezes.
I check the log, and get:
Code:
ZeroGS: creating
ZeroGS: Got Doublebuffered Visual!
ZeroGS: glX-Version 1.3
ZeroGS: Depth 24
ZeroGS: you have Direct Rendering!
ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: OGL WARNING: Need GL_EXT_blend_equation_separate
ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: OGL WARNING: multiple render targets not supported, some effects might look bad
ZeroGS: *********
ZeroGS: Disabling MRT depth writing
System stats:
linux (Fedora FC6)
Athlon XP 2700+
NVIDIA GeForce4 FX 5600

Early on you mentioned the 5000 series of nVidia cards causing problems, is that still true, or would I just see slow performance?
Is it possible that my processor not supporting SSE2 is causing my issues?

no the graphic card shouldn't be the problem if you REALLY have an GeForce5 and not 4
did you already install the Nvidia CG libraries?

Your PC is too slow by the way, but you should get games to work at least but slow.

Hi, i was just wondering if my gpu is powerful enough to run the zerogs smoothly, at around 50 fps, its a nvidia geforce go 6150, and its the only gpu that my laptop supports cause its real small. My other specs are pretty good though, 2.2 ghz amd turion 64 dual core, and 2 gb ram. If anyone can help me out i'd appreciate it. Also, i get that error with the Device doesn't support alpha blending for 16bit floating point targets.
Quality will reduce. Also it uses ps 3, but i cant figure out if i can lower it to like 2 or lower
