Hmmmm. The answer to that is no. There is no "gsmax linux". To my knowledge there is no 3d based linux plugins at all.

does gssoft use directx any? if its all software then maybe it could be converted quicker then the opengl plugins seeing that you would have to basically start over on opengl for linux. who knows might be something to look into if you know how to code tux-rj

GSSoft does not use DirectX at all, it instead uses SDL which is a cross-platform 2D graphics API which can be interfaced with OpenGL.

I don't really think Linux is properly equipped for Ps2 emulation and that the time would be better spent towards the code in windows. Just my opinion.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, Linux is worth plenty of your time if you know how to use it. Personally I like Linux better than Windows as a development environment. Don't bash Linux man, love it

Anyway, if you want the plugin to support OpenGL, the only the thing you can really do is request it. Though I think GSSoft is an excellent plugin and that future versions will only get better. It may not be GSMax, but its still one of the best plugins available IMO.
