Thanks, but can you test it on the normal version of PCSX2 with GSdx9 0.6? ( I mean not on a beta ) because I gonna buy it if it works, and otherwise I am not gonna buy it.

If you're hoping it might run as well as the developers intended (aka as on a real ps2), dont waste your money - come back a few years later

Dx9-sse2 with X800

Hi @ all.
Ive got a question!! Can someone maybe help me ?
I have a ATI X800 AMD64 and just installed the new ps2 emulator (0.81 sse2) with the GSdx9-sse2.dll Plugin.
It works perfect with the PAL Bios.
It looks very nice , but when im trying to play a game.
I have about 6%Speed, no sound and very bad craphics! :cuss2:
The Graphic is full of faults.

Can someone help me please???

Guess ill be the one doing the telling today..

virus: PCSX2 is in early stages. What does that mean ? It means it doesnt emulate the ps2 fully just yet, and its the farest thing from being optimized. If you're looking to play your favorite PS2 game in the new 1.5\2 years, get a real PS2 because thats how long you will have to wait, at the very least, for that kind of performance from PCSX2.

Bottom line, PCSX2 does NOT fully play commricial games just yet.

right now i am very happy with what does show with this emulator. with the latest version i was able to get 2 of my favorite games to load to menu. 1 went in game though due to the early stages in developement nothing really showed but black and another was being very slow playing opening movie(but was perfectly rendered) and i just closed it :/. games i am talking about btw being wild arms 3 and Dark cloud. Dark cloud up till it goes in game is rendered perfectly but when it goes ingame only thing that is rendered is the clock and the menu is perect except that when it goes to menu it has the game basically paused in background so its just shows messed up graphics. all in all i am very impressed by the work thast been done and just have to say keep up the excellent work.

hmmm. dont know if anyone has asked this question but let me shoot..

when i go to configure the GSDX9 0.8, I have only FIXED PIPELINE (BOGUS), but when using GSDX9 0.6, I have FIXED PIPELINE, AND PIXEL SHADER 1 and PIXEL SHADER 2? Is this a bug with the coding? I already know about the colour bug.. but what about that?

That's probably because gsdx now detects the card you have, and your GeForce 2 mx doesn't support pixel shaders.

Geforce 4 is the same, altho it supports pixel shaders, its only up to 1.2, gsdx9 has bogus shaders on 1.1 and below, pixel shader 1.4 would be ok, but your old Geforce wont support it

erm, no, if it's a GF4mx, it doesn't support pixel shaders, since the gf4mx core is based on the GeForce 2.

Hey, man! I'm not the coder of any emul, either i'm not the coder at all, but I can tell u a piece of advice: GET ANY GEFORCE (R) Videocard HIGHER than FX5200, except FX5600!!!
If u buy any card of 5200/5600 series u'll get very very :cuss2: angry, 'cause they're VERY BUGGY. U won't be able to play anything in nice graphical settings at all! (especially in GTA San Andreas) BELIEVE ME and be AWARE!!!

Me and da hommies reckon' you hav been an playa to long ma nigga, yoda is a busta' now smack ma bytch up and get strapped we go blast those $%%£"££" in ma pimp ride, ya?

You code da emul, is dat emule without da additives?!! The master blaster graphics cardz are okay when da drivers are pimped and lush ma bytch!! ...gah got bored of sounding like a 12yo wigger.

#1: This post has no real relivance to the thread.
#2: Speak English, or atleast drop the hommie lingo.
#3: Those cards are not the best in the 5xxx range for sure, but with current drivers they preform reasonably well. Though frankly PCSX2 isn't GPU limited so it will make negligable difference.
#4: Getting angry at a card....what are ya gonna do, beat it senseless

Since when the fsck did Yoda go all black...

while no card that I buy will not be enough. This card has be interested (supposively handles pixel shaders and vertex shaders 2.0+). Would this be a good card for this plugin (also intending to use the cards recording capabilities).

-is currently using an old geforce 3 card which has messed up colors due to whatever lol-
