I was willing to test the new build as well, I got it compiled but it won't start on a Windows XP SP2 system... not sure what's the cause of it (could it be that now it requires DX10 to be installed in any case?..), but I get the following error in the PCSX2 console:
plugins/GSdx.dll: 126 This is the same error that I get if I'm trying to plug in GSdx10 when on XP SP2 (in which case it's obvious that the error occurs because DX10 is not present on a system running Windows XP). Hope this helps. - Agetian Last edited by Agetian; December 23rd, 2007 at 18:12. |

i get "Plugins\GSdx.dll: 126" in the pcsx2 console when i start it, so whats wrong?

Gabest, could you add something like a window size choice of 640*480 / 800*600 and so on like ZeroGS has ? the default window size is too small , and even if we can resize manually , it's hard to get the size right.

yes gsdx is one plugin now wich is able to use DirectX 9 and 10.
but it doesn't work for me, maybe there is something wrong with the templates, i dunno.

BTW, maybe d3d file of DX10 is needed? Like d3d v36 in PCSX2 root folder

ok works but:
nloop0 hack is turned on by the way, and its a bit slower again on the highroad compared to 0.11.5 (SVN 704) and after loading other savegames and when i return to that place it looks like the second screen

video with GSDX9 0.11.2 et 0.11.4 :
devil kings, naruto ultimate 2, dragon ball Z bud3, rtype final, devil may cry1, okami, tekken 4, bloody roar 4, guilty gear accent core, sengoku basara 2.... devil may cry only with 0.11.2

Hmm. Am I the only one who sees a much better performance from the plugin (directx 9 or 10 (only tested in the newest combined build)) in areas where you can see over a long distance (many polygons). For me in vista it is 10fps faster then in XP. Also my vista has 32bit and Vista 64. maybe it could be this reason too.

There weren't many things changed, just reorganized. But I think it's now ok to release it. Check first post.
Thinking back again, since the release of 11.4 there have been a few nice speed boosts. Fixed texture edge bugs too (ffx beach, kh dialog box). Last edited by gabest; December 23rd, 2007 at 19:45. |
