Is it possible for GSdx9 OSD infos can be change to different colors? Sometime different game or area/places in the game can be hard to see with only the default color.. Would be nice if we can manually choose what color we like and make it bolder perhaps?
Anyway, here is something you can never see in a ps2 console! Yes it's facial hairs!

Thats very funny/impressive. Dx10 version seems to be much more powerfull. The Dx9 has same fps rate in general (at the first curve at the track I test it) it could be maybe 1 -3 fps faster. BUT after this curve there is a very long straight so many things to render. The fps rate in DX9 drops from 42 to around 30. in DX10 it only goes down to 35.
I think that shows a immense improvement. |

to compile it, you have to change something in the "GSRendererHW.h" of GSdx9 or 10. change "protected:" to "public:" should work then, output folder is: "C:\Users\Gabest\Desktop\pcsx2\plugins\" but you can change it in the project files.

I don´t think thats the best place to discuss "How to compile a project". You have to open the solution then select the solution (top of the tree view) or gsdx9 with right click and choose build. Now the binary will be put in the directory written in the project linking properties (gabest has some own paths).
Base for this is that you setup you compiler correctly (included headers and libraries of directx and the plattform sdk (if you have the express edition)). If you did that all it works. @gabest could you change the path for putting the gsdx9 and gsdx10 binary? Using the same then pcsx2 (../../bin/pcsx2.exe). So (../../bin/plugins/gsdx9.dll) would be very handy. We have to rewrite our paths every time you do a update. @NexXxus hmmm????? - Not really.... |

hhm.
edit: aaah yea, now i noticed that 0.11.3 is slower than 0.11.4, forgot to uncheck native ![]() but 0.11.0 is still the fastest. and i didn't check the highroad yet, maybe i should. edit: FPS at the highroad are OK, even with a internal resolution of 3360x2100 ![]() its ~2-5fps faster with 512x512 sorry for the hoster, imagesize is too big for attachment..

I second that. The FPS in FFX went back to normal since this latest release (10.4).

![]() Same is with 11.0, i tested both all the pcsx2 versions , allways the same.

I just noticed somethen weird with the OSD, I normally use Fraps for showing the fps overlay, then i noticed this in the load/newgame and memory card load screens, if u activate the OSD it'll change the speed, it'd be a normal thing if it was making FPSs lower but in the load/newgame screen it was raising FPSs (from 175 to 185) and in the memory card load it was slowing em (from 140 to 120 fps) so I loaded the 0.11.0 plugin since it was the... let's call it the most stable version and it was different then it was only raising the FPSs when the OSD was activated, in the load/newscreen (from 175 to 180) and then in the memory card laod screen (from 140 to 150)
it's nothing serious or anything didnt seem to do much in 3d speed just though it was funny and weird :P tried without fraps and in the memory card load screen u can hear the difference between enabled and disabled anyways :P so just a lil speed advise if you're having sometimes slowness in game try activating the OSD it may give the magical boost u need xD

no he meant 263.
you can get it from the SVN on sourceforge, but you have to compile it yourself.
