Regarding the GSSoft Recording Feature...
Is there a better avcodec.zip that doesn't just record to MPEG-1? I'd like to have full control over AVI output (with codec configuration, obviously) if possible. The recording seems to be broken (causes keyframes to be corrupt and is missing the last few seconds of recording sessions made).

use the record feature then download Virtualdub (freeware) from www.virtualdub.com then re-encode the file in XVid format. it would suck up too much power to encode one while PCSX2 is running, and if the emu did end up running at full speed, it would look like it does now
