gsoft 0.7 uses SSE-like instructions
check your cpu for to support them...

No PCSX2 uses SSE instructions and only when disable recompiler is unchecked,And that has nothing to do with compatibility,it just gives some extra speed when its supported by the cpu

hmmm...
but i am disassembled gsoft (debugger stopped pcsx2 at unknown instruction in module gsoft 0.7) and found SSE instruction which operates with 128 bit registers (just moves data like a MOV instruction). by the way, i am remove these instruction, and replase it by these analog. crash reason was removed, and bios started corectly...
so SSE needed to work

Hm i guess GSsoft uses SSE instructions too then...but still
Do these:
1)Ensure texture chaching is disabled and Disable VUs recompile is checked and Pad hack unchecked
2)Select CDVDnull plugin and after you have selected the bios(SCPH10000) go to Run->Execute.It should work then

i'll do it all with same result - gsoft 0.7 craches at unknown instruction.
in the plugin sources i was found that place - usage of SSE depended from compiler definitions in source. plugin not detected SSE support at real-time running, plugin uses compiler definition.
