GSTaris doesn't work for now. It is an experimental version.
You will have to use gssoft for now, but anyway, your pc is TOOOOO slow to be able to run a ps2 emu. Oh and don't forget that pcsx2 CAN'T run most games.

Read the stickies and get a ps2 (it's cheaper).

For anyone interested, there's a mirc script which converts "/me 's" into " * nickname's whatever" and adds a nice "/my" command.

From me testing the pcsx2 v0.5 I have came up with these conclusions. GStaris works best for opening different .ELF files located on the PS 2 disk and homebrew demos. It can't run the bios yet, well it can but stops at frame 74. Also GSsoftdx v0.61 works best for opening the bios and running (NOT playing) some games. GSsoftdx v0.61 is slow when running .ELF files and homebrew demos, but haves better graphics right now. So it seems like your going to have to stick with GSsoftdx v0.61 for a while.

Actually GStaris 0.66 work fine with the latest PCSX2 beta. I was testing Unreal Tornament and It worked like a charm ( I only got to the loading screens, so nothing new >< ) Anyways, its will probably work with the official release of PCSX2 0.6 when its out

Yours,
-Elly
