Can I run FF12 with this PC?

My specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500
ATI Radeon HD 3850, 256MB
2x1GB DDR2-667 DDR SDRAM

What plugins should I use(if my computer runs it)and is it faster by reading from DVD or from an ISO?
Right now I'm reading from a DVD(PAL) and my fps is like around 13 in videos.
I have all the cpu options for core 2 duo on.
I'm using GSdx SSE2 0.1.8 with DirectX3D 10 (Hardware), D3D internal res is 1024;1024 and texture filtering is only chosen.
Sound is GiGaHeRz's SPU 1.9.0.
Cdvdrom is P.E.Op.S. CDVD (CDDA mod)1.3.0

If you want speed:
use an ISO, has faster response times which lead to less slowdowns on disc reads.
use ZeroSPU2, my plugin is nice and all, but it's slower because of the extra processing it does.
your CPU is probably the cause of most of the slowness, I don't know exactly what the clock speeds are, but I don't think you will ge more than 35fps in this game (ingame, not videos).
make sure everything in the cpu options is enabled, including VUskip (it might be glitchy get the newest pcsx2 public beta, or compile the code from svn, and enable all the "speed hacks" in it.
mark native resolution in gsdx.

if even after all that it's still too slow for you, the only thing you have left is overcloking your CPU and RAM, or buying a better one. if you can't do that and still want to play, get a real ps2.

actually fps is ~30 now in videos but sound is little weirld, like really bad quality or smthing.

-e- videos are like almoust perfect(for me) but the sound lags

beta version? the newest build is the one rama posted near the end of the spu2ghz thread, and I don't have any direct link to it. All the public versions are beta, I don't consider the plugin to be good enough to not be beta.

the best plugin for real cd/dvd access in a dvd drive is peops 1.3.0.
the best plugin for images is linuz iso 0.7
the only real working plugin for games which require disc swapping is cdvdGigaherz, but it's slow with real discs, so you would need to use it with a virtual cd/dvd drive like daemon tools.

I have another problem now, in kilika after Yuna has sent the dead to Farplane and after the chitchat is over the screen goes black, there comes the sleeping sound(the sound when u are resting)and my games just stops there(I just hear the waves then). What do i have to do for the game to go on?

you can try a different sound plugin. specially if you are using mine, I know it gets stuck between scenes sometimes, but I don't know the reason.

I was using peops spu2

-e- ooops I was talking about FF10 right now(sorry I didnt mention it), and I tried using other sound plugins but when I loaded state then it just freezed.
-e2-got it working, just had to turn off speed hacks

good to know. yo ucan't load states from different plugins. you should combine savestates with memorycard saves, because savestates are not always "clean", and you might need to change plugins at some point.

I think that cpu was about 1.6ghz it's a bit weak as well as your vga card but the game should work. Anyways don't expect great speeds but it will probably be playable at reasonable speed

Use an ISO as GiGaHeRz said and I recommend you to check the native case on video config, it will use the ps2 native resolution and you'll get higher framerates.
