Using Gsdx 1.8.0 causes PCSX2 to crash...
I'm having a problem with using Gsdx 1.8. Every time I try to start a game with the Gsdx 1.8 plugin, PCSX2 crashes and the generic windows errors pops up. I know the problem is related to the Gsdx 1.8 plugin because if I use an earlier version of the Gsdx plugin such as 1.7 it works fine. I meet the requirements to use the plugin, my PC supports the sse2 instruction set and my graphics card/chip is capable of Pixel/Vertex Shading 3.0. I am also using the sse2 plugin of Gsdx 1.8 as per my CPU specification. I don't really understand what the problem could be with the Gsdx 1.8 plugin that it isn't working. |

Which pcsx2 version? Latest direct dlls available btw? You might want to only extract the plugin that is supported by your cpu (as gabest suggested somewhere)

70 megs? Best grab the web updater instead (it's linked to in the thread anyway)

I've got same problem with later SVN's, but it depends who compiles it. Works when some people compiles it to me (don't have VS2008 but 2005 so can't compile it myself).

I had the same problem but after looking at the plugin config I saw it was because I was trying to use the SSE4 version (I didn't realized when I updated it), I just had to use SS3 and it worked perfect. You may have the same problem I recommend you to check it.

Make sure you update directx to this months release. That fixed my issues. It crashed before I updated.
