robotic Odin Sphere voice problem..
Ok so when I play Odin Sphere and it makes it to the first cut scene the framerate drops and the voices sound robotic. I did note that when played with the ZeroGS plugin the sound is fine but the resolution isnt as high and I cant seem to get fullscreen to work. My computer is overclocked to 3.4 and I do have a ATI Radeon HD 3850 so it seems to me the game should work fine. Am I pushing the limits of my machine here?
PCSX2 0.9.4 GSdx 0.1.7 ZeroSPU2 0.4.4 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.4GHz 4gigs of ram XP x64 |

but it looks so much better with the other plugin.. zeroGS looks about as good as the game looks when I run it on my PS2 with my XRGB2.. but the other plugin makes the game look just about perfect.. the text is crisp and not fuzzy not to mention the graphics which are crisp and high res.. oh well I guess it just wasnt meant to be.. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the sound settings but seems like its just the graphics plugin..

Sorry to hijack, but I also have an audio problem with Odin Sphere that involves the synchronization of voices in cut-scenes using:
0.9.4 of the emulator ZeroSPU2 0.4.4 ZeroGS KOSMOS 0.97.0 There was a post that suggested using the 0.9.2 version of the emulator. I've tried it and it works great. However, I do not like having to use save states (Odin Sphere running on 0.9.2 doesn't recognize memory cards I suppose) as they introduce some strange anomalies into various games. I've been searching for a way to remedy this throughout the forums, but either I have been unsuccessful in locating one or one does not exist at the current time. So I suppose my question is, has anyone been able to successfully solve this issue? It wasn't too major before, but I've noticed that for some of the longer scenes, the dialog can get cut off before it finishes. |

I'm having no problems in Odin sphere using gsdx. Zerospu 045, pcsx2 svn 351, gsdx 1.7 ssse3.
it sometimes slows down on scenes with huge sprites but otherwise its perfect. time scaling and realtime mode in zerospu was enabled, using native res in dx10 mode for gsdx, and cpu speedhacks are all disabled. |
