Pixel shader 2.0?

Geforce MX4000V
128 DDR+TV OUT
does this support pixel shader 2.0?

I'm planning to buy a new one, cause the emulator keeps saying

"supported pixel shader is too low
supported:0
selected:2"

What does this mean anyway?
so that I can decide to buy a new one or not

Geforce MX4000V = GeForce 4 MX = just a refurbished GeForce 2 MX with 128MB Memory and no pixelshaders.

well the question is, do you want to "play" PS2 games on that system or just try or hack games like cheat searching and something else.
because you will just have wrong colors and a framerate wich never goes above 10.

Gsplguin,

your PC is way to old to run the PS2 emulator at a decent speed.
you're going to need to upgrade your whole PC if you want to play games with PCSX2.

That graphics card is very old, and your CPU is very old as well.
I recommend sticking to your own PS2, unless you want to spend $1000 on a decent rig...

I just want to play harvest moon, that's the only game I want to run pcsx2. It's okay for me even though it may be too slow or the colors might not come out right .I'm not really into playing games, I'm more into making games, so I dont own a ps2. That's too bad, so you're saying I cant play without pixel shaders 2.?

You have to own a ps2 to have a bios image legally and we do not support piracy here so you will not get further support.
That, and also that ancient pc you have will probably not even run a game because of lack of both pixel shaders and SSE instructions.
