you must compile it yourself from the svn SourceForge.net: PCSX2 and PCSX2 TEAM'S PLUGINS

Im doing a lot of tests because fmod AND WAVE repeat a looong buffer. ASIO + XAudio2 generate errors:

Thank you for do NOSSE2 version, ty

For the buffer issues, if your pc is fast enough, I recommend you to set the buffer size to 2048 or 2400, and the buffer count to something between 5 and 10.

A bigger size helps reduce a bit of CPU use. And a bigger count helps reduce looping frequency when the game is slow.

I don't recommend setting smaller buffer sizes, but if your pc is fast enough, you can use 1024/15 or similar. Going under 1024 is never recommended.

There was a x64 version in the release, but it proved to be too buggy and slow compared to the 32bit version, and given 32bit exes work just fine in 64bit OSes, there was no need.

Said that, I must remind you discussion about non-public builds is not allowed in the forums, and that this is a spu2ghz thread, not pcsx2, so you should stay on topic. :P

Going back to topic:
I am fixing a few things more and going through my games, I will most probably upload 1.5 later this evening, hopefully fixing more than breaking... ^_^

I tried to compile latest revision (26) of spu2ghz, but the xaudio2out.cpp requires a header file called "xaudio2.h", which i don't have, and isn't on gigaherz's repository... anyone got a link to it, pretty please?

You need latest DirectX SDK. Just one xaudio2.h doesn't help.

Black screen of Doom :)

Hi All,
I have serious issues with latest "spu2ghz-b1.4.rar". When I use this plug-in doesn’t matter with witch GFX plug-in there is absolutely no video output and no sound, just black screen
I installed November DirectX, tried different output modes, enable/disable available options in sound plug-in but its always black screen.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Thanks for help, but what's the point?
I mean, latest version is better, why go back?
Is there anymore people with same issues? Maybe a some sort of solution available?

Thanks, Benny.

Ok, so i check ALL versions, and only the very first version works.
Why Audio plug-in makes video go? whats the relevance? Vista?

only solution so far is using svn 265 and up, and yes there's more people with same problem

and the point is I was giving u a solution to the blackscreenss as people sometimes think is a bad setting, but it's just a plugin error being unsuported by current public stable and betas :P
