No. Some games go faster under DX10. And many games looks better due to native z-buffer depths.
No man, it's running a whole lot slower for me even on the basic settings for both. I'm not sure what the dealio is since I have a good PC.

As for zerogs and zerospu2, they are in the pcsx2 svn repository in /plugins/gs and /plugins/spu2, respectively.

I'm not sure if my code builds for 64bits anymore. The last time I built it was to try some pre-0.9.4 private beta...

For anyone interested, there's a mirc script which converts "/me 's" into " * nickname's whatever" and adds a nice "/my" command.

Plugin to 'PCSX2/plugins/'. Additional DLLs to main PCSX2 dir <where the pcsx2.exe is>.

Note: be sure to unpack them.

Hello. Nice work on the plugin. It's been while since I've came back to try PCSX2. It's more like a PS2 every day.

I have a problem I posted a topic in http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-offici...ml#post1277197

Not sure whether this is a bug. This is reproducible in both DirectX 9 and 10 mode pixel shader 2 or 3 and with other different configuration options.
Basically I uploaded a gs file as well.

With Direct 10 however (I run Vista with Geforce 8800) there's a black to transparent triangular gradient shade appearing from top left as well. I haven't print a screen for that, since DX9 doesn't have any problem.

So does rule pretty much apply to all plugins ?

if you look close, the error only happens when the model is in front of the sky (ie. there is an atmospheric effect behind the model). so, it probably is an error in how the fog or something is drawn. idk, but i've noticed it before too.

Svn 302

GT4 crashes might be reduced now when using ZeroGS (GSDX will still crash)

Why crashing in Gsdx??My FPS in Gsdx 0.1.7ssse3 40-50,but the ZeroGs 0.97.1 20-30

thats why reports about compiles from the svn are NOT to be discussed. for all we know, your computers might bl0w, who knows... if it crashes, there's no helping it. the svn compiles are there for people who want to try the latest stuff and help, not those who want to just play (there's 0.9.4 for that, and obviously the real console itself is pretty good at that as well)

Great plugin, I as well as many others appreciate the time and effort spent on developing it.
One small suggestion though is that you support VU Skip in GSdx, it works with ZeroGS however for games like Xenosaga where dx10 support results in a very significant performance difference; GSdx really is the only way to go.
The 'flashing screen effect' that comes without VU skip support is giving me a seizure.

Some days ago I tried kingdom hearts 2 with pcsx2 snv301 (not 302), and i don't know why I managed to play until the first boss (the big unknow enemy), in the middle of the battle the screen turned grey

I Don't know if can be useful to gabest but as soon my internet connection at home is restored, i'll post the GS file of this problem. I don't know either if it's a pcsx2 or gsdx bug

Unfortunately every time i try again to play this game I get the random crash that usually happens with this game and gsdx, BTW i have seen with a debugger that is caused by a Division by zero (idiv instruction).

Gabest has said something about why hes not supporting frameskip before, I don't remember what he said but it think its because its difficult to do, and it will bring many errors.

This bug has been mentioned alot, apparently it is a pcsx2 bug. The game isn't listed as playable.

I know that it's not listed as playable, and so i try every new version of pcsx2

The bug you mentioned is the grey screen or the gsdx crash?

because altho it "semi" works, its still sending rubbish to the GS, which ZeroGS can handle without crashing, but GSDX9 doesnt like one bit.
