Odin Sphere runs unusually slowly during certain scenes. Particularly during the end of the intro, just before several sprites pop out of a butterfly. The slowdown only lasts for maybe a second, and once they do pop out the scene plays without a hitch. Not really sure if this will help but here's a GS during the slowdown: http://xat.uguu.us/gsdx_20081228083702.rar

Hi Gabest, I started looking at gsdx sources and I'd like to mess with texture processing (upscaling and such things). Could you please suggest me which stage may I add an algorithm to process textures? Is it also possible to distinguish 3d models textures from 2d sprites (sprites is what interests me)?

Rozen Maiden - Gebetgarten (J) D3D9 Hardware: runs perfect on Software mode, it has a similar problem like Elemental Gerad, there are elements missing such as backgrounds, certain sprites and 3D, there also a few transparecy issues or either the screen seems to not be "cleared" on sprite effects as scrolling or scaling, leaving a trace in such cases. D3D9 Hardware: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() D3D9 Software: ![]() ![]() ![]() Note that when replaying the .gs files it looks completely corrupted on SW, which is not the output I recorded, also the 3D will flicker on and off like EG, using F8 I would get a completely black snapshot regardless of what was on the screen, only the .gs for the Title Screen is reproduced 1:1 on both modes. |

Gabest, please add these to the post processing blacklist: {0x2294D322, WildArms5, JP, false}, {0xAA5EC3A3, TalesOfAbyss, JP, false}, {0x86BC3040, MetalGearSolid3, JP, false}, //Subsistance EDIT: OK, I made the changes myself and after a LOT of problems compiling (I've haven't done any programming since over a decade ago in school and have never used VS or Tortoise before) I can confirm these all work. Please make them official changes. edit 2: It's the JP version of MGS Substi, not the US version. Last edited by ecchichuu; December 29th, 2008 at 17:18.. |

Gabest please, fix the plugin with Suikoden 3. I have tried 0.1.13 with Playground 1.0.0395 and screen trembles. I have tried to enable various Interlacing modes, but objects and persons appears striped or look like worst that without Interlacing. I have tried also with other versions of emu and plugin, but there is same problem.

DirectX End-User Runtimes (November 2008) or DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer EDIT: Also are you running SSE2, 3 or 4? I think it won't work if your cpu doesn't support SSE version you are trying to use... |

I recently bought the German PAL Platinum Edition of Final Fantasy XII, and "put" it onto my PC, because my PS2 gives me Eyecancer on the HD TV. Here is the CRC because my fmvs are ugly: DC2A467E (see attachment) Thank you for this great Plugin, i love it so far, 50fps baby! (yes its pal max) |

Ok guys I finally get it working. I just had to update my graphic card's driver. Wow the directx 10 mode is really stunning. Mgs 3 now runs @ 25-40 FPS while it couldn't exceed 20 FPS under DX9 mode. Excellent work Gabest! |
