Surprise, surprise what Google can do (hint: you want the End-user runtime)

Some older versions of gsdx do support ps1.4, but with your videocard you won't get useful speeds on those.

i also read somewhere :
"I have placed D3dcompiler_36.dll and d3dx10_36.dll "

You should place the _39 or _40 version in the program directory.

no thats completely wrong and it could cause more errors

if anyone is getting that error it simply means that directX need updating

i couldn't update my directx for lack of connection, i simply took the _39 files from a friend by a pen drive and placed in the pcsx2 direcotry.
It is still working...

Updating directx is often only adding more _NN Dlls in your system.
Maybe i'm wrong... but it works.

If it were that simple I woundn't be posting here. No interlacing mode fix this problem. Also changing the internal res to native doesn't solve the problem. And there are a few glitches like this one too:

@Saddan Hussein
try an old version of Gsdx.
I got a very similar problem with Crash Bandicoot, and switching to an old version solved the problem (gsdx10 0.1.4).
Unfortunately getting the latest gsdx , is not always the best for all games .

Just wanted to say thanks for the time and effort it takes to make these plugins work.

Just a shame you all don't get paid for the time/enjoyment these emulators bring.

You get that error from the start of the game? If so....common issue...enable patches and save your game on the first sphere THEN disable patches it will work from there on.

Happened to me on 1.9 and 1.10
